Now that votes are getting complicated, Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 10 shows us what we should have seen more this season; post-tribal reactions.
The Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 10 preview shows the likely first few seconds from next week’s show.
Early on in the season, it seemed like the Manu disaster was a linear one; we knew who was voting for which players because it was pretty much telegraphed before the voting. You knew who was voting for Chris, who voted out Rick, where the votes for Reem were from and all the players who voted out Aubry.
Paired with the fact that the Edge of Extinction takes up so much of our screentime, it’s easy to see why the post-tribal camp scenes were cut for most of this Survivor season. The explanation doesn’t make it better for the viewers, however, as often I had wondered what David Wright thought after Wardog went with Kelley and Lauren as opposed to with him and Devens in voting out the Kool-Aid man.
Thankfully, the Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 10 preview for “Blood of a Blindside” shows exactly what the mood is at camp after that crazy tribal council in the last episode, as there is a dynamic shift visibly present here with the Vata tribe.
I can’t believe it’s only Night 23 on the show, but we did get our first idol play. The entirety of this Survivor preview is David explaining the chaos of the last tribal and how despite him and Devens wasting their idol to block out one vote, they thought the whirlwind of emotions could have just been some political theater for the original plan Kelley told him was real at tribal; to vote out David.
Though we only hear David, it’s more important to see who’s hanging out immediately after. David, Devens and Kelley are one group before Kelley embraces Julie moving on on their conversation. Later, David, Devens and Victoria are going off to have what might be another strategic conversation. Aurora is decidedly on the outs, so let’s see if she’s one of the next to go.
