One of the eleven residents on the Edge of Extinction is about to return, giving them a one in six shot at becoming the Sole Survivor.

The Edge of Extinction twist is about to make a significant impact on the result of season 38 of Survivor. Tonight we’re going to see one person return to the game with only two Tribal Councils to survive until the fire-making challenge.

Some of the castaways have spent over 20 days together on Extinction Island, building stronger bonds than the edit would like to reveal. So if an eliminated castaway wins their back and makes it to Final Tribal Council, there’s an awfully good chance that the jury will be rooting for them.

So let’s rank each castaway’s odds at making it back in the game, and seeing if they could realistically win the title of Sole Survivor.

11) Reem Daly

Odds of winning the challenge:

We only have a small sample size, but Reem hasn’t done particularly well in challenges, plus she is the oldest member of the group. She has proven to be tough and resilient through the 30+ days she’s spent on Extinction Island, but taking part in three challenges the entire season isn’t a great sign.

Chances of winning the game:

If she returns, her threat level would be much lower than a Joe or Wentworth so she might be able to make it Final Tribal. That said, I would be completely shocked if the jury would vote for someone who has been out of the game since Day 3, plus she hasn’t gotten along with everyone either.
