Though not everybody’s involved with both major public social media sites, most of the Survivor: Island of the Idols have Twitter and Instagram now.

If there’s one noticeable trend when it comes to Survivor: Island of the Idols castaways, it’s that they’re taking social media mandates fairly seriously. Unlike someone on an odd-numbered season who could have faced seven-digit consequences for their brazen Instagram behavior, these players are going out of their way not to even follow most one another.

More importantly, some members of the season 39 crew have only made Twitter or Instagram accounts in the week of or prior to the Survivor: Island of the Idols premiere, although most had been on Instagram for a while. Unlike past seasons, there are no complete social media holdouts; not even Tom Laidlaw, who’s the only player in their 60s this season.

Here are the social media accounts for Survivor: Island of the Idols. If you are a castaway or know of a castaway’s handle that is different or newly available during the season’s run, please let us know on our Twitter or Facebook page.

Additionally, Boston Rob Mariano finally hopped on Instagram in addition to his long-standing Twitter account. The queen (of social media) stays queen across both platforms, as she had a Twitter and Instagram account long before Island of the Idols was but a concept in Jeff Probst’s fantasies of getting Boston Rob back on the show.
