24. Survivor 45

At this point, we know what the new era of Survivor has to offer. Lots of twists, great casting, and for the most part, good game play. The big knock on Survivor 45 is that it felt like it was Dee's game to lose for the final few episodes.

This was a season filled with new twists though and that definitely made it fun. The Survivor auction returned for the first time since the Worlds Apart cast ruined it and production hiding different amounts of money throughout the jungle was a fun new twist. I didn't love all of the times that players' votes were taken from them but that's just something we need to get used to in the new era.

The 90-minute episodes were a great way to get to know the cast better and to provide more fun scenes, like the boys night at the camp. It's such a shame that this was the first season to give us 90-minute episodes every week. Think of how much was left out of past seasons!

Overall, Survivor 45 was a fun ride and showed that the show is in good hands moving forward.
