“No one wants to date someone who doesn’t make the merge!”

I might not have the exact quote, but you get the idea. Kat returned for a second time and was hoping to play the game with her boyfriend Hayden Moss, who had previously won Big Brother. After Kat was blindsided on Day 16 and sent to Redemption Island, she was really worried that Hayden wouldn’t want to date her anymore since she didn’t make the merge.

Sadly, the two broke up shortly after the season aired, but based on the comments Kat made about Hayden during his segment on the 100 greatest Survivors rankings, they seem to be on good terms.

Kat is always good for a slew of terrific quotes and this goes down as one of her best ever.

SHE VOTED OUT HER MOM!

What most people remember about Survivor: Blood vs Water is when Ciera Eastin voted out her mom, Laura Morett, who had previously played in Samoa. At the time, yes, it was a very emotional moment and really was what the show was hoping for when they created the whole Blood vs Water concept.

Over the years, however, Jeff Probst continued to bring this up as if it was the greatest move of all time, which it was far from. It made perfect sense for Ciera to vote her mom out when she did and it really didn’t need to continue to be made into a big deal.

Rustle feathers

While Kat’s quote is probably my favorite from this season, the heated tribal council where Hayden was trying to convince Ciera to flip and said “Rustle feathers” to which Tyson Apostol subtly corrected him saying that it’s “ruffle feathers”.

This line was hilarious because Hayden was in the midst of a fiery speech to Ciera and when Tyson corrected him, everyone just sort of stopped and thought, “Wait… What?”

Tyson is always good for his one liners and this is definitely one of the best quotes not only from Blood vs Water, but from all of Survivor.
