Survivor 41 cast: 18 New Castaways are announced

CBS finally released its official press release in announcing the new 18 castaways for Survivor 41, complete with pics and bios for the new cast competing this fall. But before we get to the new castaways, first let us talk about what might be in store in terms of the actual game.
Host and executive producer Jeff Probst stated “I cannot remember a time when I’ve been this excited to launch a new season of Survivor”. This is good news and music to my ears and if Mr. Probst is pumped up about it, then we all should start to feel the excitement as well.
Now for the interesting twists:
Here is something that I can’t ever remember happening, so this could be a first for Survivor as Jeff Probst will also take viewers inside the action, addressing the audience directly throughout the season and even letting fans in on some twists before the players are made aware.
HOLY CRAP!!! This sounds freaking awesome and could be interesting to see how that plays out.
In addition, junior fans can test their own Survivor skills by playing the new “Game within the Game.” Each week, they’ll have to spot a hidden rebus puzzle within the episode and then solve it.
A game within the game, I think it will add another element to Survivor and could be the beginning of a new era in Survivor history.
I am an old school Survivor fan and I was hoping that they would not mess up what has worked for 40 seasons, but I must admit Mr. Probst giving us a side of Survivor we have never seen before and a somewhat interactive element with the new season could be a great turn of events.
