Survivor 47 gave us some of the most memorable players in recent history, and we are set to reunite with them soon as the second part of the first-ever two-part finale takes place this week. We will see who makes it to the final tribal council among Christine "Teeny" Chirichillo, Rachel LaMont, Sam Phalen, and Sue Smey. We will also hear from the jury members, who will speak for the first time since being eliminated. Unfortunately, we will not hear from the three players below. Despite being memorable, they were voted out before the merge, and don't get to be part of the final episode. Here are the three players that are gone too soon from Survivor 47.
Jerome "Rome" Cooney
Love him or hate him, Jerome "Rome" Cooney is one of the most interesting players this season. He was a major part of the proceedings in his tribe Lavo. He had a steal-a-vote advantage and a hidden immunity idol, so he was in control of the votes in the elimination of Aysha Welch and Kishan Patel.
Most notably, he had an ongoing rivalry with Solomon "Sol" Yi. Rome followed Sol relentlessly throughout the camp to prevent him from finding a hidden immunity idol and even threatened Sol to give up his shot-in-the-dark or he would use the steal-a-vote.
However, with the pre-merge tribe, Rome became an easy target as his manic energy and frantic manipulation was driving his tribemates crazy. Sol had the last laugh and Rome was the last player eliminated to not make the jury.
Kishan Patel
Kishan Patel had the makings of a memorable Survivor player. And for being the fourth person eliminated, he still gets mentioned a lot as Genevieve Mushaluk regularly brings up Kishan as the reason why she has decided to emotionally detach herself from the relationships within the game.
Kishan appeared to be in a solid position, as he allied with Teeny on Lavo. However, he made the mistake of throwing Genevieve's name out and she masterminded a move to get Kishan eliminated and Rome surprised everyone by using the block-a-vote on Kishan instead of Sol. Genevieve even got arch-rivals Sol and Rome to work together on the vote.
As he was eliminated, he said "Genevieve, I trusted you."
Terran "TK" Foster
TK is another of the players that 'could have been' if he could tone down his personality. He was heavily featured in the first two episodes, being the key anchor in helping his tribe Tuku win the first reward challenge and back at camp, catching Gabe Ortis finding a hidden immunity idol.
He looked like a physical threat and he had a strong, dominant personality. That would prove to be his downfall, however, as he was unable to effectively manage the different personalities within his tribe. He made it clear he wanted to work with the other guys, Kyle Ostwald and Gabe, while seemingly ignoring the female players. That proved to be his downfall and he was the second person eliminated in the game.
Gone too soon
The three castaways can look back and wonder what could have been as we gear up for an epic Survivor finale this week. We will get to hear from the eight jury members and the three finalists as they cast the million-dollar vote.
