There are only a few people who know who the real Survivor 48 winner is! One of those people is Jeff Probst, and he just dropped a big hint about what's to come in the Survivor 48 finale and who will win this season.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jeff shared his thoughts about the Final Five and revealed what this season is going to come down to with five players who can win.
"It's very rare to have a final five where you can make a legitimate case for any of them to win. That's what we have with this group. Anyone can win. It will all come down to who sits next to who in the final three. Those final two immunity challenges and control over who makes fire will be key."
The last part of Jeff's answer is very important for a few reasons. First of all, every season of Survivor largely comes down to who the Final Five are and if the favorite ends up in the Final Three and sitting next to two other players they can beat. Recently, we've seen favorites exit at this stage, like Maria Shrime Gonzalez in Survivor 46, but we've also seen players win the game at this stage, too, like Rachel LaMont in Survivor 47.
So, we all know that the Final Three is super important. I think it's very telling that Jeff went even further to talk about the immunity challenges. We obviously know one player is going to choose who makes fire. That's always such a hard decision because you don't want to give your competition one last chance to make a huge impact and succeed in front of the jury.

Along with that, and thanks to the promo for the finale, we already know one of the players who wins immunity at Final Five or Final Four.
Based on the promo, Kamilla Karthigesu is seen with the immunity necklace on in a confessional during the finale. So, we know she's going to win at least one of the two immunity challenges. If she wins at the Final Four, she will have a huge decision to make about who she brings to the end. Would she bring her ally, Kyle Fraser? Would she bring the player she thinks she can beat and allow Kyle to make fire and possibly earn another positive mark on his resume to possibly beat her? There are always these questions.
Potentially, Kamilla could win both challenges, and that's why Jeff referenced the final two immunity challenges and the fire-making challenge. We just don't know yet.
The Final Four in Survivor 48 looks like it's going to be especially fascinating because if it plays out how it seems with Mitch Guerra getting voted out fifth, we should have two pairs of Day 1 allies in the Final Four with Joe Hunter and Eva Erickson and Kyle and Kamilla. I don't know the last time that happened, or if it ever has in Survivor history.
No matter who wins, they will have to decide between choosing their top ally, even though it means that they could lose votes because their games were so closely aligned. Or, they have to send their ally to make fire. It's going to be really fascinating to see what happens.
Ultimately, to Jeff's point, someone is going to make the right or wrong call in Survivor 48 after winning immunity in that Final Four spot. The winner will either be someone who makes that call, or the winner will benefit from someone making the wrong call, if I'm picking up what Jeff is putting down.
We'll find out in the Survivor 48 finale!
