From the minute Mike White was announced to be part of theSurvivor 50cast, fans immediately began speculating about the possibility of some of White’s competitors in the season being tapped to guest star in the next season ofThe White Lotus.
The speculation was definitely warranted, as every season ofThe White Lotushas featured at least oneSurvivorcameo, and White has a tendency to give parts to players he competed alongside in the game. So it was fair to assume that White would look to bring a familiar face or two from the season 50 cast.
We thought we’d have to wait forThe White Lotusseason 4 to arrive before we learned who fromSurvivor 50might make a surprise cameo, but the cameos won’t be a surprise this time around!
While White was unable to attend theSurvivor 50live reunion special in Los Angeles, as he was on location in France filmingThe White Lotusseason 4, he did drop by to speak with Jeff Probst via Zoom. After looking back on the season and why he chose to return, White decided to giveSurvivorfans a fun tidbit to make up for his absence.
During the live finale, White confirmed thatSurvivor 50contestants Kamilla Karthigesu and Charlie Davis will bothmake a cameo inThe White Lotusseason 4. Details about their roles are unclear and will likely remain unknown until the season arrives in 2027.
It's honestly not surprising that Kamilla and Charlie were the two players selected to appear inThe White Lotusseason 4, as both played alongside White as members of the original Kalo tribe. Interestingly, we didn't see the pair make that strong of a connection with White during their time together, but that could simply be a result of the season's edit.
Survivorfans know that the editing team often leaves a lot of material on the cutting room floor, and it's quite possible that White really clicked with Charlie and Kamilla during the season and we didn't see it. I mean, he clearly connected with them if he extended an invitation to the pair to make a cameo in the next season ofThe White Lotus.
With Kamilla and Charlie both confirmed to appear in the new season, it'll be interesting to see if there are any other surprise cameos White sneaks in. We have seen the number ofSurvivorcameos grow with each passing season, so it's certainly possible he could sneak in a few more cameos from eitherSurvivor 50cast members or alums from other seasons.
