Survivor 46 winner Kenzie Petty welcomed her first child with her husband, Jackson Petty, at the end of September 2024.

On Sept. 29, Petty announced the birth of a baby boy, Beau, on Instagram.

"Out of everything I’ve ever done, this is by far the best," Petty wrote in the caption of the "Baby Hard Launch" video.

Many Survivor contestants commented on the post, including Angelina Keeley from one of the best seasons of Survivor, Survivor: David vs. Goliath.

"Beyond happy for you and your little family, Kenzie! Here for you always I’m just a text away!" Angelina commented.

Kenzie announced that she was expecting on Mother's Day 2024. A few days later on May 22, Kenzie won Survivor 46 over Charlie Davis and Ben Katzman on a 5-3-0 vote. Five of the jury members voted for Kenzie while only three voted for Charlie. No one voted for Ben, who was a close ally of Kenzie and Charlie in season 46. That's not a bad two-week stretch, and honestly, what a whirlwind for Kenzie and her family over the last couple of months!

Remember, Kenzie revealed on Survivor 46 that she actually asked her husband, Jackson, to postpone their wedding so she could answer the call and go to Fiji to compete on Survivor. The couple married on Sept. 2, 2023.

During Survivor 46, Kenzie started on the Yanu, a dysfunctional mess. They started the game by losing four immunity challenges in a row before the pre-merge. It looked like Q Burdette, Tiffany Nicole Ervin, and Kenzie were on the outs, but with a brilliant social game and well-timed immunity challenge wins, Kenzie made it to the final four. When Ben won the final immunity challenge and chose Charlie to sit with him during final tribal council, Kenzie beat Liz Wilcox in the fire-making challenge to secure her spot in the final three with Charlie and Ben. Then, she held her own and proved her case as to why she was the deserving winner of Survivor 46.

In the week since the announcement, Petty has been sharing lots of tips and stories from her experience on Instagram, as well. So, definitely give Kenzie's page a follow if you're interested in that kind of content!

As for playing Survivor again, it doesn't seem like we'll be seeing Kenzie play in the near future, but she didn't totally rule it out after winning Survivor 46 earlier this year.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly's Dalton Ross, Kenzie revealed that she's at peace with how things turned out in Survivor 46, but she admitted she'd pick up the phone and think about it if Jeff Probst called and invited her to return for Survivor 50.

"I've gotten asked this a hundred times in the last 12 hours. I think my Survivor experience was everything I wanted it to be. I know what it's like to be on the bottom. I know what it's like to be on the top. I think I'm good. Of course, if they call, you need to think about it. But I am very full from Survivor and I don't have anything else that I need from the island. I went out there to win, I won. I would love to watch all of my friends win, so I don't know."

Of course, Survivor 50 is going to be THE season of Survivor! This summer, Jeff admitted that there were still about 100 former players in the running to join the cast of Survivor 50, which will film next year and premiere in 2026.

Congratulations to the Petty family on their new addition!

Survivor 47 airs weekly on Wednesdays on CBS and Paramount+!
