Survivor season 46 episode 9 preview: Everybody's turning on everyone

Q caused a major distraction at tribal council in episode 8, and it's totally changed the game heading into Survivor season 46 episode 9, "Spicy Jeff."

It took a while, but Survivor season 46 is officially getting exciting! After coming up on the wrong side of the vote heading into tribal council in episode 8, Q lit everything on fire, figuratively, and tried to shake things up at tribal council by asking the tribe to vote him out. It didn't change the plan; Tevin was voted out. But, it definitely changed the game. Heading into episode 9, "Spicy Jeff," no one is safe!

And, how refreshing, right? It's been a rather lackluster season so far. There have been a few blindsides, but everyone has played things rather safe, until now. It seems like the game is becoming increasingly chaotic and more fun.

What time is Survivor tonight?

Everybody hates Q in the new preview for episode 9

Q is the talk of the Survivor world after one of the most disastrous decisions in modern tribal council history where he asked the whole tribe to vote him out. Eventually, Tevin was actually the one voted out. In the sneak peek for episode 9, Q's allies are furious that he made all of these decisions without telling him. Most importantly, Tiffany and Kenzie, Q's two oldest allies in the game, are furious that Q told Maria about Tiffany's hidden immunity idol.

At this point in the game, that puts a major target on Tiffany's back, which is likely responsible for the first clip in the Next Time on Survivor episode preview we see. Tiffany is giving Q a piece of her mind, and she tells him that he "F***** up," which is absolutely true! We also see Kenzie telling Q that she's mad. As they say in Love Island, Q has some major grafting to do. I think I'm using that correctly.

In the clip, Kenzie says, "Everybody's turning on everyone." That's literally music to the ears of every Survivor fan!

Anyway, Q isn't going out that easy, as everyone knew. Q ends the preview by saying, "I'm gonna give 'em hell. They can cancel Christmas."

Love the enthusiasm, Q!

Maria wants to vote out another woman, and we think it's Tiffany

In the clip, we also get a quick shot of Maria and Charlie talking. Maria tells Charlie, "I need her gone." She doesn't say who she is talking about, but I think it's obviously Tiffany.

In the last episode, Q targeted Tiffany, which literally made no sense, but he did it anyway. He told Maria, in an effort to pull her into the vote, that Tiffany is dangerous and has a hidden immunity idol. He also mentioned that Tiffany wanted to vote out Maria.

Again, Maria isn't specific in the clip, but it's clear if Tiffany has an idol and she's tossing out Maria's name the smart move would to target Tiffany.

What's hilarious about this whole thing is that Q and Hunter are going find themselves in the middle! There are too many people left in the game! If Maria is targeting Tiffany and she finds out about it, Tiffany will have to pull Q and Hunter into the mix.

For me, it's shaping up for some variation of Maria, Charlie, Ben, Liz, and Venus vs. Tiffany, Kenzie, Q, and Hunter. Of course, Kenzie, Q, and Hunter could flip to the other side, but it seems like this is shaping up to be Maria vs. Tiffany. And, one of them has a hidden immunity idol!

Unfortunately, Kenzie appears to be Tiffany's strongest ally, which puts her in jeopardy to be targeted by Maria and Charlie in the next vote.

We'll see how it all goes down in Survivor season 46 episode 9 on Wednesday, April 24!
