6. Gabe Ortis

Our Pickle on Blast
“Our Pickle on Blast” – Two castaways must mend fences after a wild tribal council. The Immunity Challenge leaves one group of castaways with a much-needed reward and safety in the game. Gabe has played a great game so far, but other people on the island are starting to notice. He also has the game's strongest alliance, the Tuku alliance.

That alliance may be a two-edged sword. It is great to have trust in several people, and there is a bigger target on Kyle than him, but people are going to want to break up that foursome soon.

Other former Tuku members may eventually be willing to use Gabe as a shield for a while longer, but eventually, he will need to go. Caroline Vidmar will most likely make the move, but it isn't time for that yet.

5. Sol Yi

Sol has his secret ally in Rachel, and he seemingly kept the vote off her in episode 8, but you have to wonder how long he can deflect the votes that will inevitably come her way. He can certainly give her a heads up when her name is on the chopping block, and it will probably be enough to protect the both of them for a few more episodes.

It has been hard to read where Sol stands with most of his tribemates. He seems to get along with almost everyone, but he has sometimes let his frustrations with the gameplay become too obvious. That can rub people the wrong way.

He's playing hard, and it wouldn't surprise me if he worked and cajoled his way to the final three. He hasn't been in much of a position to make any moves other than to push the vote toward Rome, but that hardly counts as everyone was ready to make that move. Sol is one of the more interesting players left, and it will be interesting to see how deep he can go.
