4. Teeny Chrichillo

He's All That
“He’s All That” – The classic SURVIVOR auction is back with a twist! One castaway bites into a little more than food, which leads to a game-changing opportunity. Then, another wild tribal council results in the first member of the jury, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Nov. 6 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode / CBS

Teeny has been the one player who has tried to organize votes and alliances, but she's had no luck. Someone with a different agenda has always foiled her plans. To her credit, she has been subtle in her gameplay and hasn't made a big deal about when her plans go awry.

She is very good socially, and it doesn't seem like anyone considers her a threat. She feels a bit of frustration that the game has not gone the way she wanted it to, but at this point, she's still safe.

There is still time for her to make a move. There is probably a path for her to reach the final three. If that happens, anything can happen, as we saw in Survivor 46 when Kenzie Petty won with little more than her great social game resume.

3. Sue Smey

Belly of the Beast
“Belly of the Beast” – Tensions run high as tribemates begin to get on each other’s last nerve at camp. Three castaways go on a journey and make a big decision that will impact the game. Then, in the challenge, tribes must climb their way to the top to earn a reward that will provide comfort at camp as well as safety in the game, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Oct. 2 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+* (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME / CBS

Of everyone still in the game, Sue has played the weakest game. She deserves props for winning immunity during episode 8, and she may be the oldest person to do so, but otherwise, her gameplay has been weak.

While she talks a big game in her confessionals, she has done nothing so far but follow Gabe and Caroline. She hasn't shown herself capable of any big move, though she might have it in her.

Sue is the prototypical player who finds the right alliance and tags along for the ride as a vote. Kudos for the immunity win, but the audience would love to see some other sign she's playing the game. The jury will need some proof, too.

2. Genevieve Mushaluk

Nightmare Fuel
“Nightmare Fuel” – Castaways must choose wisely as they split themselves into pairs at a crucial multi-staged immunity challenge. The deck is stacked against castaways when they embark on a journey that can drastically affect their game. Then, different names are tossed out at camp as paranoia ensues, leading to another crazy tribal council, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Nov. 13 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with / CBS

Since the tribes all came together, Genevieve has emerged as one of the best players. She's intelligent, social, and strategic. However, being the best doesn't translate into winning, as Charlie Davis learned last season.

Because she is playing such a good game, eventually, others will notice (see Rachel), and she doesn't seem to have a strong alliance. Sometimes, it is hard to swing a big move without people playing with her, but she is seeing the game's broader view.

It only takes her confiding in the wrong person at the wrong time for things to go askew, but she's probably safe for now. She is perhaps someone who might slide up or down these rankings each episode, depending on what happens each time.

1. Caroline Vidmar

It is great to be in the game's strongest alliance, to maybe be the best player in that alliance, but not have the focus anywhere near her. With Kyle and Gabe in the Tuku Four, Caroline can use them as shields as long as they remain in the game.

She also has Sue on her side, and it doesn't appear that Sue would turn on her. She has a pretty good set-up right now. If she bides her time and can stay in the shadows a bit longer, she might be the one player who can make a couple of big moves later in the game to gain the notice of the jury.

She's good at deflecting other players' plans and ideas, and if she can continue to do that without annoying people, she is in a great position to make the final three and has plenty of opportunities to build her resume.

Survivor 47 is settling down into that post-merge period, where anything can happen, and it usually does. We're going to have some fun watching it play out.
