We've officially reached the Survivor 49 finale! After an intense and emotional penultimate episode that saw a key player voted out of Survivor 49, we finally know the Final 5 of the season, and it's definitely not what we were expecting a few weeks ago.

There were some moves on the table that opened up a few weeks ago, but the players did not make them, and that's the most surprising part of the season. Now, there are some serious questions about who is actually going to win Survivor 49.

We'll find out just who wins on Wednesday, Dec. 17, during the Survivor 49 finale! Here are the five players leftd in this season of the series. Let's get the list started with Savannah Louie, who seems like the favorite to win this season.

Savannah Louie

Cherry on Top
“Cherry on Top” – Revenge is a dish best served cold when one castaway tries to get back at the person who eliminated their day one. One castaway’s journey becomes a race against mother nature to outrun the tides. Then, a new version of a familiar challenge stands between castaways and the immunity necklace, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Dec. 3 Pictured: Savannah Louie. Photo: CBS ©2025 CBS Broadcasting, Inc. For the third time this season, Savannah won the immunity challenge to secure her spot. She's only one win away from tying a huge and historic record on Survivor, just like Rachel LaMont just a few seasons ago.

Savannah secured her spot in the finale after also winning the reward challenge, which earned her a Mexican feast, letters from home, and a night at the Sanctuary.

Right now, with the immunity wins and how she's played the second half of the game, Savannah appears to be the favorite to win Survivor 49 heading into the finale. She has some competition, of course, but she's played basically a perfect game after Nate Moore, one of her top allies, was voted

Rizo Velovic

Rizo has played a perfect game differently than Savannah. Rizo has not allowed anyone to pin him down yet. He's had an idol since very early in the game, and he's played chicken with that idol in basically every Tribal Council. Honestly, these players should have never let that happen, but it makes me wonder if people don't really consider him a threat to win. He sure has a longer leash in the game than a lot of players. You'd think Sage, Steven, and Kristina, and even Sophi, would get so fed up and just vote for Rizo to get rid of him or make him play his idol to get another idol back in the game, but that has yet to happen.

Rizo is putting together a good resume, but he might be too far behind Savannah to win without making a big move in the game.

Sophi Balerdi

Sophi had the perfect opportunity to make a big move and steal Rizo's idol, but she tried to make the move that would help her game, and it didn't pay off. She looked pretty embarassed after it blew up in her face, but it wasn't anything compared to Steven's embarassment.

She still has a chance to win simply because she's the ultimate Survivor. She keeps surviving even when the odds are stacked against her, like they have been since starting the game on the Kele tribe, which lost four players before the other tribes lost one.

Sage Ahrens-Nichols

Hot Grim Reaper
“Hot Grim Reaper” – After tribal council’s most recent idol play, castaways set out on a “defensive” idol search. One of the game’s toughest antagonists breaks down and shares a side of vulnerability with their tribemates. Then, the stakes of this week’s individual immunity challenge are raised when group immunity is on the line, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Nov. 12. Pictured: Sage Ahrens-Nichols. Sage has made some epic moves in Survivor 49, but she's come up short and shot herself in the foot when she's had opportunities to break up Savannah and Rizo and take control of the game. Sage is still fighting, and she's not going to give up, which is admirable. She just took out Steven basically with no help! It was one of the most incredible moves in modern Survivor history.

She has one more vote to get Savannah out of the game before it's too late. If she can, Sage can win Survivor 49.

Kristina Mills

Kristina is probably the least surprising member of the Final 5, honestly. She's, as Steven said, playing a messy game, but she's been loyal throughout, and she's overcome a lot of obstacles in this game just like the rest of these players. She has so much work to do to actually win, but she has a decent chance to make it to the Final Tribal Council.

It's going to be a while finale (unless Savannah just keeps winning immunity). We'll be watching on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 8 p.m. EST on CBS and Paramount+. And, it is a three-hour episode! Make sure you tune in.
