Heading into the Survivor 49 finale, history was on the line. Savannah was one immunity challenge away from tying the record for most individual immunity wins in a season. She'd already won three immunity challenges, and she had two chances to break the record.
Well, it did not take long for that to happen. Savannah tied the record very easily.
Savannah won the first immunity challenge of the finale, one of the most grueling challenges of the season that saw the players crawl through a muddy net, balance on a rolling barrel, and then solve a challenging puzzle. Savannah blew out the competition, and she won her fourth immunity challenge of the season.
In doing so, Savannah tied the women's record for individual immunity wins in Survivor history. She joins Rachel LaMont, Chrissy Hofbeck, Kim Spradlin, Jenna Morasca, and Kelly Wiglesworth as the only other players to win four immunity challenges in a season.
Update after the second immunity challenge of the finale: Savannah did not win the final immunity challenge of the season. After charging out to a huge lead in the challenge, Savannah couldn't complete the last part of the challenge, and Sophi Balerdi, who was completely out of the challenge, came charging back to beat Savannah right at the very end.
Savannah was that close to setting the women's record for immunity wins in Survivor!
Who has the most individual immunity wins in Survivor history?

Had Savannah beaten Sophi in the last challenge of the season, she would have joined six other players, all of them men, who have won five individual immunity challenges.
Through 49 seasons of the series, no player has won more than five individual immunity challenges in the series, but there are six men who have won five individual immunity challenges. We shared the list of those players:
- Colby Donaldson
- Mike Holloway
- Brad Culpepper
- Ozzy Lusth
- Tom Westman
- Terry Deitz
The individual immunity win record could fall in Survivor 50. While I'm skeptical that we'll see a player win more than five immunity challenges in a season, if anyone is going to do it, it could be one of the Survivor 50 players simply because they will likely have more challenges. We should see more challenges, but it will all depend on how the season plays out.
We'll just have to wait and see! Survivor 50 premieres on Feb. 25, 2026, on CBS and Paramount+.
