The first official celebrity guest of Survivor 50 is headed to Fiji in episode 4, "Knife to the Heart," on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. After three episodes of hearing about this Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol, country music star Zac Brown will be hanging out with Jeff Probst and the players out in Fiji.

We've known since the first official trailer of the season that Zac Brown would be heading out for Survivor 50, but we didn't know when the Survivor superfan would be making an appearance. Thanks to the new images released by CBS, we know that Brown isn't just there to hang out, either.

For those who don't know who Zac Brown is, he's the lead singer of of the Zac Brown Band with hits such as "Chicken Fried."

Zac Brown will be part of the biggest reward of Survivor 50 so far

As you can see from the images, Brown isn't going to be just be observing what's happening in Survivor 50. He's going to be part of the game. We don't know how exactly, but we can see from the episode 4 synopsis shared by CBS that Brown will be part of the "biggest reward of the season.

Here's the full synopsis via CBS:

"Knife to the Heart” – Castaways help pass the time on their beach by hosting the 'Survivor 50 Talent Show'. We're a little more than a week into the game at this point, and these players are starving. Almost every player has mentioned just how hungry and down they are, so I guarantee this reward is going to have a major food component.

I'm sure Brown will probably sing some songs or something. Maybe, he and Jeff can do a duet. I swear to the Survivor gods, though, if Jeff starts singing a country song of the reward challenge instructions, I will lose my mind. I might quit watching the show. I can't take any more musical moments after the tribe swap rap from episode 3.

It will be interesting to see if Brown is there to just bring forth a food reward or if there's an advantage component to this, as well. We know there are a lot of advantages in the game with extra votes, stolen votes, block-a-votes, and these idols. I would be surprised if Brown isn't giving someone an advantage in the game.

We'll just have to see how it plays out, but I'm curious. I'm also curious to learn if the other celebrities are coming soon. There's been talk that Jimmy Fallon, Mr. Beast, and others could be heading out to Fiji.

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed with the celebrity involvment this season. It feels like a gimmick when we don't need more gimmicks, but hey, Brown took time out of his personal life to go out to Fiji, so props to him.

Stay tuned for more news about Survivor 50! Watch episode 4, "Knife to the Heart," on Wednesday, March 18, on CBS and Paramount+.
