Survivor 50 has not been short of twists and massive moments, and episode 10, “A Side Dish of Chaos,” had more than its fair share.
There was the Survivor auction that included some nasty food having to be eaten before the good food. Then came the introduction of MrBeast and the revelation of a Beware Advantage to be explained at Tribal Council. Then they went directly to the immunity challenge, where Tiffany Ervin earned protection.
After a chaotic afternoon where numerous players were floated as possible candidates to go home, off they went to Tribal Council. Rick Devens, knowing he was on the chopping block, decided to blow everything up, spilling the beans that Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick had a steal-a-vote advantage and that she was targeting Ozzy Lusth.
Whether on purpose or not, Rick revealed that it was Stephenie's plan to get out Ozzy, although it was actually Jonathan Young's. Once the chaos settled down, MrBeast and host Jeff Probst revealed the advantage: one player had to be chosen to call heads or tails, and flip a coin, and if that player called it correctly, they'd get safety, an immunity idol, and MrBeast would add an extra $1 million to the final prize. If the wrong side of the coin came up, the player who flipped it would go home immediately.
Rick quickly volunteered, never wavered, and in one of the most dramatic moments in the show's history, the coin landed as called, giving Devens immunity and an extra $1 million for the eventual winner. Then, in a bit of a surprise, Stephenie was unanimously voted out.
Now for the power rankings—based on who of the remaining players are in a good place and have protection from an idol, advantage, or alliance. These are not odds on who will win or even predictions because this is Survivor, and things can change instantly.

9. Aubry Bracco
Aubry is a great strategic player but has struggled this season in the social game. She's floated along between voting with this alliance or that but doesn't have any obvious allies. Her name is often thrown around, and she tends to get votes at Tribal Council, so she is an easy target if she can't find people to help her along for a few more days. There are bigger targets this season, but it is challenging to win this game on your own.

8. Jonathan Young
This season, Jonathan has played way more strategically than he did in the past, but he hasn't been very subtle about it, and he's watched his closest allies get sent home. It will be difficult for him moving forward, especially because at least Rick knows it was Jonathan who targeted Ozzy. He's a threat to win a challenge at any time, but he hasn't been impressive in individual challenges. He is going to need an ally apart from Joe Hunter to keep going for much longer.

7. Joe Hunter
Unlike Jonathan, Joe has struggled this season with strategic plays. He's been much more of a follower than some might have expected. He's a good guy, but he's been waffling between alliances now for a while. Jonathan is his only true ally, but Joe has told secrets that he probably should have held closer at times. It is difficult to see him make the Final Three unless someone decides to drag him there. He doesn't have any enemies, but he hasn't stood out this season apart from as a number.

6. Emily Flippen
Emily has played the middle for much of the game but has gravitated toward Cirie Fields' alliance of late. She has been way more likeable this season, for both the fans and her fellow castaways, but she can't keep secrets. That is a bad flaw to have late in Survivor. People need to be trustworthy, and she tends to share info when she shouldn't. One wrong move from her, and she could be sent home for this reason alone.

5. Rick Devens
Rick would have been much lower if he didn't have an immunity idol. He is public enemy no. 1 right now. He must navigate the next couple of votes if he wants any chance at the Final Three. But Rick has played harder this season than anyone else, and that is saying a lot! The problem is that to play that hard, you have to ruffle plenty of feathers. No one wants to take the person to the Final Three who everyone knows has been going full bore and still makes it to the Final Tribal Council. If he somehow does make it to the end, it will be difficult to vote against him.

4. Tiffany Ervin
This is an odd case. Tiffany was basically ignored by the producers pre-merge. After five episodes, she had fewer confessionals than Zac Brown, who was only on for about 10 minutes. That usually isn't a great sign. She's played under the radar mostly, but she is great in challenges, and she's become the fourth in Cirie Field's alliance. Look for her to make some moves before getting to the top five or six. She will have no qualms about taking out big names. The only question will be if she can pull it off.

3. Ozzy Lusth
Jonathan was right when he said that Ozzy has played a better strategic game this time. But his strategy has basically been to work with Cirie, protect her when necessary, and let her do most (not all, though) of the thinking. It's worked out great for him. But Ozzy is still Ozzy, and he'll always be a target. He still has his idol, but it has to get flushed out soon. He said he won't go home with it in his pocket, but we'll see. It would be nice, however, to see him get another immunity win and tie Boston Rob Mariano with nine.

2. Rizo Velovic
Maybe only Rick and jury member Christian Hubicki have played harder than Rizo, but he's certainly been the most subtle of the three. He wants to be considered a great player so badly, and it motivates him in the right way. He also still has an idol, so that gives him even more protection as the game thins out.
It's astonishing he's lasted this long. Since he hasn't made any giant waves, he's avoided attention, but he's lying in wait. His best move has been to align himself with Cirie and Ozzy, maybe the two biggest shields in the game, and he's been loyal to them. But he has to know that it will be difficult for him to win if he's sitting with either of them at the Final Tribal Council. We can likely expect him to make a big move soon.

1. Cirie Fields
How is Cirie still in this game? That she is provides even more proof of just how good at Survivor she is, especially since she is terrible at challenges. She sits back and watches and waits and subtly directs votes while protecting her allies. If she were to make it to the Final Three, it would be difficult to beat her. She's the sentimental favorite, but it's more than that. She will have earned her place. At this point, she has to be the fan favorite to win. Still, it would be surprising if Rizo or Tiffany don't find a way to take her out. Whoever does might be the winner.
With nine players and only seven days left, it is shaping up to be an incredible finish to Survivor 50.
