Survivor 50 players return after filming ends

As our Survivor 50 cast reunited with their loved ones, they're also reuniting with the fans online as we try and figure out what happened out on the island.

Survivor 50 is officially over for our players, yet it hasn't even begun for the fans!

After a month away from social media—though some had scheduled posts or friends and family posting on their behalf—we're starting to see players from Survivor 50 posting their appreciation for the season that everyone's talking about.

Players like Jenna Lewis-Dougherty (Survivor: Borneo, Survivor: All Stars) shared posts that commented on the little moments that mean so much after coming home, like making breakfast and attending her kid's tennis tournament. She even made sure to share that it took multiple days before she left the house or drove her car after getting back to the States. I don't blame her. Especially if she was competing for most of the 26 days, she definitely deserves a rest.

Others posted a simple "proof of life" moment that caused fans to question how many days they lasted on the island based on their physical appearance.

Many fans noted that Colby Donaldson (Survivor: The Australian Outback, Survivor: All -Stars, Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains) and Jonathan Young (Survivor 42), two powerhouses from their seasons, were both looking significantly skinnier than they had in their last couple of posts and hoped that meant they might have made it pretty far into the 50th season.

And then we got posts of gratitude from Joe Hunter (Survivor 48) and Rick Devens (Survivor: Edge of Extinction) who shared how thankful they are for their family and friends who have supported them in their Survivor journeys. And of course, true to their style, Joe's post showed off his genuine sincerity while Devens' delivered his classic wit. We can't wait to get both of their personalities back on our screens!

But it was Angelina Keeley (Survivor: David vs. Goliath) who shared a heartfelt reunion with her children that definitely got us all a little misty-eyed. In the sweet video, Angelina invites fans into the moment where she arrived home from Fiji to greet her daughters after a month away, and the smiles on all three of their faces says it all, even though there's music over their conversation.

So we still won't know if she's telling them that she just won $1 million for a little while longer, unfortunately.

As our players continue to settle back into their every day lives, I'm sure we'll see more posts in the coming weeks. And of course while they can't share anything about their time on the island, that's not going to stop us from guessing what might have gone down.

We're happy they all made it home safely and can't wait to see who came out on top of Survivor 50!

Stay tuned for more news about Survivor 50! We'll share more as soon as we find out!
