Early Survivor 50 spoilers revealed that the game will start with three tribes. Now that Jeff Probst revealed production has officially wrapped on Survivor 50, the starting tribes have been revealed by Inside Survivor.

Unfortunately, we're still months away from Survivor 50 airing, but it's good to know how the game will begin when the season premieres on CBS and Paramount+ in February 2026.

Let's take a look at those tribes! (SPOILERS FOR SURVIVOR 50 AHEAD!)

Teal tribe

  • Mike White
  • Tiffany Nicole Ervin
  • Charlie Davis
  • Jonathan Young
  • Coach
  • Dee Valladares
  • Kamilla Karthigesu
  • Chrissy Hofbeck

Orange tribe

  • Ozzy Lusth
  • Cirie Fields
  • Joe Hunter
  • Christian Hubicki
  • Jenna Lewis
  • Savannah Louie
  • Emily Flippen
  • Rick Devens

Purple tribe

  • Aubry Bracco
  • Kyle Fraser
  • Q Burdette
  • Genevieve Mushaluk
  • Colby Donaldson
  • Stephenie LaGrossa
  • Angelina Keeley
  • Rizo Velovic

Overall, the tribes, on paper, seems pretty evenly matched. There is a mix of strong challenge players, strategic threats, and social butterflies. It's impossible to predict how the early game will go, especially considering just how many players are in this season.

With that said, I do love the makeup of the teal tribe. I bet that the winner is going to come from that tribe. I don't know why I feel that way, but that's my gut reaction. The orange tribe could be really interesting in challenges, though! Joe and Ozzy on the same tribe could make the difference in the early part of the game, assuming there are some more physical challenges to start.

The purple tribe could be great, too. Aubry, Genevieve, Angelina, and Stephenie would make an incredible alliance. We also have Kyle, who just won Survivor 48, in the mix. Q is obviously the wild card. He has all of the physical attributes to go far in the game, but can he chill out and not be in charge like he tried to be in Survivor 46? We'll see! I do need the Q Skirt back in my life, though.

Honestly, this feels like it could be anyone's game. I will be very shocked if we have a situation where the one tribe loses every challenge, like we saw in Survivor 46 and Survivor 48, most recently. I feel like production has a much better grasp on what these returning players are capable of. Now, it's just seeing how they performed out in Fiji.

With 24 players and only 26 days, we're either going to see some combination of more challenges or double Tribal Councils in the early part of the game. I'm guessing that only one tribe will be safe after winning immunity, while two tribes will go to Tribal Council until the merge. More challenges, without proper nourishment in food and rest, could make things really dicey during the season.

I'm also hoping to see higher-level social and strategic gameplay from this group. I don't really care about the challenges in the way that I care about the moves. That's where I hope Survivor 50 exceeds expectations, but I also feel like that might be hard to do. We still don't know how many twists and turns there will be. We don't know about the idols and how present they will be, but I really hope so. There are few things as exciting in Survivor as a perfectly played immunity idol at Tribal Council, so I really do want to see these great players get to show off a little bit.

Stay tuned for more news about Survivor 50!
