Survivor icons are campaigning for CBS to cast Rachel Reilly on Survivor 51

Following her shocking elimination on Big Brother 27, Survivor alums are pushing for Rachel Reilly to compete on a future season of Survivor.

The reality TV world might still be reeling from Rachel Reilly’s shocking Big Brother 27 elimination, but Survivor legends are already beginning to manifest new opportunities for Rachel following her elimination.

While many fans are focusing their energy on pleas for the Big Brother production team to right their wrong by bringing Rachel back into the game, two Survivor icons are starting a campaign to get Rachel out of the Big Brother house and onto the island of Survivor

It all began after a fan replied to a message of support from soon-to-be four-time Survivor player Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick. After word broke of Rachel’s elimination from the game as a result of a production twist, Stephenie was one of the many members of the CBS reality TV family who took to social media to voice their frustration over the disappointing development.

“Sending love to my girl Rachel Reilly, one of the greatest friends I've made from TV! This girl is a TRUE friend. The way she went out was COMPLETELY bogus, but she played a masterful game and without her there was no BB27! Keep your head held high, my queen,” Stephenie wrote.

The tweet caught the attention of one fan who suggested that Rachel should compete on Survivor, and it did not take long for Stephenie to throw her support behind the idea. “Yessss!!!!! Rachel Reilly for Survivor 51,” Stephenie replied.

The suggestion has since begun to pick up steam with Survivor: Guatemala winner Danni Boatwright joining Stephenie in calling upon CBS to cast Rachel in Survivor 51.

“I second this motion!!! Rachel Reilly for Survivor 51,” Danni replied, throwing her support behind the idea of Rachel competing on Survivor.

Interestingly, the idea is one that Rachel's husband Brendon Villegas has also begun campaigning for following her elimination from Big Brother 27. During a lengthy statement released by Brendon following Rachel’s elimination, he called upon fans to push for Rachel to “do Survivor and become the first player to compete on all three [CBS reality competition shows].”

While there has been a lot of crossover between The Amazing Race, Big Brother, and Survivor, no player has ever appeared on all three shows. The hope seems to be that Rachel can make history by becoming the first to complete the CBS trifecta following her three seasons on Big Brother and her two seasons of The Amazing Race.

It would certainly be interesting to see how Rachel would fare on Survivor, but we have a sense she could make a run for the title of Sole Survivor. As Rachel showed the world once again with her run on Big Brother 27, she is one of the best strategists to grace our screens with a masterful social game that would absolutely translate well into the game of Survivor. She’s also an amazing competitor and knows how to deliver amazing reality TV.

Getting to see Rachel make history would definitely help to lessen the sting of her Big Brother exit. As for whether the Survivor producers will hear the pleas of its alums and Rachel’s millions of fans, we’ll have to wait to see, but we definitely would love to see the Queen of Big Brother take on the game of Survivor!
