For the last two seasons, I’ve predicted Kyle Fraser and Savannah Louie would become Sole Survivor of their season before the game even started. And when they both hit the Final 7, I decided to turn to my tarot cards to see how everyone was set to play the rest of the game. Both of them were revealed to have winning energies, then too.
Of course, Survivor 50 is not like any of our recent seasons and it’s been harder to predict who could make it to the Final Tribal Council and take the—now—$2 million prize. My initial feeling was that this was Christian Hubicki’s season to lose, but I also have been rooting for Aubry Bracco since she first appeared in Kaoh Rong and I anticipate she’s playing a winning game, too.
But what will the cards say about our Final 7 remaining players—all of whom are playing the game to win?
For this experiment, I shuffled the deck while focusing on a player and waited for a card to present itself by separating from the deck. That card would then share a little more insight into what we can expect from our castaway as we move further into the game and possibly reveal who is most likely to win.
(Disclaimer: this is for entertainment purposes only.)

Aubry Bracco
For Aubry, I pulled the Nine of Pentacles which is essentially a card of independent success and affluence. It’s a great card to get if you’re looking to come into a lot of money and I think we can safely say $2 million is a good amount of cash. This card represents hard work and patience that bring invaluable resources into our lives over the course of many years, potentially.
With this being Aubry’s fourth season playing Survivor over the last 10+ years, she’s definitely had time to learn not only the mechanics of the game, but the best way to fit herself into them. The card gives major Sole Survivor vibes and I have absolutely no difficulty seeing that for Aubry.

Cirie Fields
Cirie got the Five of Pentacles which is an interesting card. It basically symbolizes working through something after a chapter of devastating loss. While the card itself appears bleak in meaning, it actually is meant to validate the hardships you’ve been through and encourages hope of a better outcome in the future.
Considering Cirie’s last appearance on American Survivor was when she was eliminated from Game Changers simply because everyone else was immune, it’s clear Survivor 50 is her chance to remind herself that she is strong. So while she has potential to win, the real win for her will be playing a well-rounded game.

Joe Hunter
Joe was the recipient of the Eight of Pentacles which is basically the “hard worker” card. The image on the card itself depicts someone putting in the effort and remaining loyal to something after dedicating a lot of time to it. It represents someone who has stuck to their guns and been working towards a solution that they feel is best.
The card matches perfectly with Joe’s “honor and integrity” gameplay vibes. He came into Survivor 50 with a plan to play a loyal game and he has the potential to be rewarded for it. Though this card more so signifies the reward coming from the personal acknowledgment of a job well done—the final prize being what you created for yourself—rather than external validation.
Back when I predicted the finalists for Survivor 48, Joe received the Three of Cups which was about building sacred bonds—something that definitely guided his game last time. But this time around, relationships haven’t worked out so well for him, having built alliances with people who have pretty much all ended up on the jury.

Jonathan Young
When I pulled the Ace of Cups for Jonathan, I wasn’t quite sure how he fit in that at first. But then I remembered that after his appearance on Survivor 42, he received a lot of backlash for the way he spoke to and about the women on his season. So getting this card—which represents cleansing through emotional healing and new beginnings—could show that this is Jonathan’s second chance to win America’s heart. This season might give him hope, though it likely won’t be because of the $2 million prize.

Rick Devens
I think my favorite card that I pulled for our castaways was Devens getting the Two of Cups. This is basically the soulmates card, which makes me believe that Devens’s participation in Survivor 50 was not meant to end in a win, but to create a golden friendship through a mirrored player. Namely, Christian. Their bromance was driving fans all season until Christian’s (semi) blindside. So while Devens might not win $2 million, he’s walking away with something more valuable: a friend for life.

Rizo Velovic
Rizo’s card for this season is the Ace of Swords which is basically like putting an animated lightbulb over his head with a little “ding” sound effect. Rizo is ready for some new mental energy to flow through him, crafting a brilliant plan that will cause him to follow his strategized path. And after he basically was the one to put the final sword in Ozzy Lusth last week, it feels like he’s about to start opening up his communication channels outside of his alliance with Cirie Fields and possibly let some new ideas in to ensure a spot at the end for himself.
Back in Survivor 49, I pulled the Two of Wands for him which really solidified that he was a dedicated ally to Savannah Louie and going up against her was likely going to be the reason he didn’t win—and after losing the Final Four fire-making challenge to her, that came to be. But moving from the card of strong partnerships to a card of quick-witted inspiration proves he’s grown his game in the few weeks since he last played.

Tiffany Ervin
I love that Tiffany got the Knight of Swords because after she was wronged by an erratic ally in Survivor 46, she’s rightfully getting her chance to prove herself this season. And this card is all about being ambitious and relentless in what you’re pursuing. While some people think the wielder of this card is acting selfishly in their own mission, that’s kind of perfect for Survivor.
This season, Tiffany has been reactive in her gameplay, which has allowed her to stay alive even after her closest ally Dee Valladares was sent to the jury. She suggested the Ozzy blindside to Jonathan and has the power to potentially get Cirie out as well—the other biggest threat to win right now. If she continues to look at things logically instead of emotionally, she could potentially make it to the end and win.
