There were rumors regarding Survivor season 35, but now we have some confirmation about Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, including the first preview
The Survivor: Game Changers finale on Wednesday night was dramatic for a number of reasons. But when the dust settled and the Final 3 were in front of the jury, it became quite apparent — even under the new Final Tribal Council forum format — that Sarah Lacina was going to be the $1 million winner. Indeed she was, so now it’s onto season 35, Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.
Before the finale and live reunion show ever aired, we already knew several things about the upcoming season 35. The location again being in Fiji was spoiled quite some time ago. Meanwhile, there were photos showing that there would be three tribes and the colors of those tribes.
What’s more, the good folks at Inside Survivor began dropping rumors and bits of information about season 35. First came the rumored title of Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. They then revealed 13 of the 18 rumored castaways that would be playing.
At the end of the live reunion show following the finale, all of these things were confirmed. However, there was also a lot that we learned from the reveal. But first, let’s take a look at the official preview for Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers:
Perhaps the biggest reveal of this was that “Hustlers” is actually a positive term. Perhaps it’s the previous “No Collar” tribe burned into our memory, but the prevailing notion seemed to be “Hustlers” was in reference to the type of pool-hall hustling you see in movies. That’s not the case, as the true intent is regarding the players working had at their jobs.

Another interesting note is that several of the castaways shown in the preview were not in the leak of the players that we got before the finale and reunion. Subsequently, we’ll certainly find out plenty more about Survivor season 35 as we head towards the fall when the season will premiere.
