Having dedicated so much of his life to raising money for cancer research, Survivor Millennials vs. Gen X winner Adam Klein will now do so on his bike.

Adam Klein’s path to victory in Survivor Millennials vs. Gen X isn’t a smooth sailing as it could have been. A gloating passage here and a misplayed idol there didn’t stop his dedication to playing the game, as he hustled his way to a 10-0-0 sweep at the Final Tribal Council. He played for his mother, who had passed away shortly after the filming of his season due to lung cancer.

Ever since then, Adam has been focusing his dedication towards raising money for cancer research in many ways, with the latest serving as an honorary captain of a cross-country cycling marathon. People reports that he will be participating in The 2017 Coast 2 Coast 4 Cancer Ride as employees of Bristol-Myers Squibb make their way cross country.

He will be biking with the teams between St. Louis and Indianapolis, hoping to bring awareness for the $1 million goal for cancer research these oncologists hope to raise. Furthermore, Bristol-Myers Squibb will be matching donations up to $500,000 themselves, with people able to donate at this link here.

“This is actually really personal to me,” Adam says. “The way my family would vacation was to ride bikes together. I started my Survivor audition video on a bike in Argentina with my family. My mom loved to bike, and this was one of the things we always did together. So I feel like my mom is with me every time I get on a bike.”

Adam Klein has leveraged his reality celebrity for a lot of good in such a short amount of time, immediately announcing on reunion night he would donate $100,000 of his prize winnings from Survivor Millennials vs. Gen X to Stand Up To Cancer. He has also teamed up with CVS to provide an in-store recording prompting customers to donate to the American Lung Association and Lung Force.
