There is two hours’ worth of Survivor season 35 content when episode 10 drops next week, and “blindside” is on the tip of everyone’s tongues.
With just Joe Mena and Mike Zahalsky left in the Healers alliance and seven (!) players from the Heroes and Hustlers alliance remaining, the next two Survivor season 35 votes will be crucial to the dynamics of the Final Tribal Council. Will someone flip and compel others to go against the majority to usurp power, or will everyone keep their heads down until the Pagonging is over?
The Survivor season 35 episode 10 promo for “Buy One, Get One Free” suggests that the former will take place. Jeff Probst made a concerted effort to say that the final third of this season is where the action picks up, and this double-length episode may mark the beginning of actual exciting gameplay.
Voicing over the commercial, the narrator for this Survivor promo indicated viewers will be subject to “double the twists, double the drama and double the double-crossing” in episode 10. What’s interesting is that the spread of players available for each mention of the word “blindside” should give pause, as it’s likely somebody has been fed false information.
The first instance sees Ben calling it out to Devon, Lauren, Ryan and Ashley. Chrissy then says it to Ryan in the second instance, Ryan to Ben in the third instance, Lauren to Ashely in the fourth instance, then Devon capping it off with a confessional saying “it’s the biggest blindside yet” for the fifth case.

It’s entirely possible that the footage of Survivor season 35 episode 10 promo is being cut up around both hours’ Tribal Council targets, and that certain players are talking about other blindsides to occur. However, during the “Next Time On” preview that capped off the latest episode showed Lauren and Ashley talking to Mike and Joe about a possible flip, with Devon being present for a discussion that preceded this discussion.
If anything, I could see a flip on Ryan or Ben take place next week. A total Pagonging of one tribe by two pre-merge tribes doesn’t make sense, especially with four Heroes and three Hustlers left in a Final 7 scenario, so somebody is likely making a big move next week.

The only person not shown in this commercial is JP, which is totally indicative of his presence in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.
