Survivor Ghost Island Ponderosa: Juror No. 3 lives the impossible
Caught in a web of lies, Survivor Ghost Island’s third juror leaves the game behind on the island and gets down to the good things in life; food and dance.
This article will touch on the events of Survivor Ghost Island episode 10, including who was eliminated this Wednesday night.
Desiree Afuye knew her role in Survivor Ghost Island and decided that now was the time to break out and make some big movez. She tried to bring the Malolo Four into the fold in an attempt to take out the big players of the game, including Kellyn, Wendell and Domenick. Unfortunately, it’s hard to convince a group of making a move when you don’t know where their alliances lie, as Laurel called her out and the rest was history.
Even though Desiree fought like hell up until her elimination, it was clear that she wasn’t going to dwell on the experience. This point was emphasized in her Survivor Ponderosa video, where she talked about how she came to peace with her decisions in the game and left all worried back on the island.

Libby and Chris continued the trend of greeting the newest jury members with bottles of alcohol in hand, as Desiree was quite ready to get back to normal, everyday life (well, as normal as you can be when filming a reality show). She even talks about how she invented the grilled cheese burger, which combines the savory goodness of a hamburger patty with a grilled cheese sandwiching it in. Can’t wait for the next jury member to claim they invented the question mark!
What seemed to be a traditional Ponderosa video quickly changed, as Desiree taught her fellow Ponderosians an authentic Nigerian dance. It became something of a spectacle, seeing Des become a teacher and discipline Chris Noble on his bad form! The idea of him chasing after Libby through dance kept Chris in line, though!

It’s a shame we didn’t get to see this side of Des too much in Survivor Ghost Island. Unlike the previous jurors, it seemed like she was under-edited at times and pushed to the forefront only when she screwed up. She’s more interesting a person than what we got to see most of the season.
