The tenth episode of Survivor Ghost Island saw a member of the old Naviti tribe go home. Chelsea was the only other person to vote with said cast member.

The most recent episode of Survivor Ghost Island was an interesting one. From the beginning, it appeared that a member of the old Naviti tribe would be going home. Desiree was hatching a plan to the old Malolo’s about turning on her alliance and getting Kellyn out.

Unfortunately for Desiree, Laurel tattled on her to Domenick, and when it got relayed back to Kellyn, Chelsea’s name was grouped in, too. Chelsea never was mentioned as a part of the plan again, but the big thing with her is that she voted for Michael (not Desiree), so obviously her alliance didn’t tell her about their plan.

That could mean that Chelsea is now on the bottom, despite being in the predominant alliance from the beginning. Obviously, things shift quickly on Survivor, but could this past vote be Chelsea’s undoing?

The good news for Chelsea is that she hasn’t been given nearly enough airtime to all of a sudden be considered a big threat. At least one would assume that with how Survivor typically plays out. She’s had maybe three confessionals all season, and while we’ve seen her strategize, she doesn’t appear to be a threat to win the game.

The bad news is obvious. Chelsea was one of two people not looped in on the last vote, and the other one who wasn’t is at Ponderosa eating peanut butter and jelly right now. When someone is on the wrong side of the vote, that’s never good for their game.

Kellyn has been preaching “Naviti Strong” all season long, and with four Malolos still in the game, it’s doubtful that she now preys on Chelsea. Kellyn also really seems to have it out for Michael, so her continuing to gun for him is probably still in the cards.

While Chelsea was on the wrong side of the vote, she appears to be well-liked and hasn’t been given a ton of airtime to this point for us to decipher what her role is. She did win immunity this week, so maybe the physical threat label gets slapped on her at some point.

If Chelsea gets several confessionals in episode 11, then we’ll have our answer pretty early on; she’ll likely be one of the two next to go. Oh, editing.
