Bianca Roses was the most recent castaway to be voted out in Survivor 48. After losing her number one ally to a crazy tribal council, Bianca was forced to build better bonds with her new tribemates. She felt that she had to find a way to build trust with her swapped tribe, so she had a path forward at the merge.

With the tribe seemingly split down the middle, Bianca appeared to be in the power position. With Cedrek McPhadden and Sai Hughley on one side, and Chrissy Sarnowsky and Mitch Guerra on the other, Bianca seemed to have all the leverage. Except, of course, she had no vote. Her tribe didn't know this, and was relying on her number.

In an effort to build trust, she worked her relationship with Cedrek. In the end, it backfired on her, and Cedrek took her out. Bianca later revealed what her biggest mistake was; trusting Cedrek, or was there a mistake even greater?

When fans at home watched Bianca tell Cedrek minutes before tribal that she had actually lost her vote, many were screaming at the television screen. She explains that it was part of her relationship building with Cedrek, which she had been nurturing for days. Clearly, it did not pay off, as he told Chrissy and the pair voted Bianca out in a 2-1-1 shocker.

It is still not clear why Bianca was voted out, given Chrissy's adamant dislike of Sai. Though once she was voted out, it seems obvious that her biggest regret would be spilling the tea to Cedrek. Except, according to Bianca's exit interview with Entertainment Weekly, that decision was not her biggest regret and even made sense at the time, due to the aforementioned relationship building we didn't get to see in the edit. Honesty with Cedrek, she said, would establish her as his number one.

Instead, Bianca shares that her biggest regret was going on the journey that lost her the vote in the first place. Coming into the season, she told herself to never go on a journey. As we saw her say, "journeys end in demise." In this case, they did. Her tribe decided early on that she would be the one going, and she did not want to cause issues by disagreeing.

Had Bianca had the choice, she would not have risked her vote to play the dice game. Or, any game, it seems. Votes are power in the game, and she wanted to retain hers. In the end, it was that lack of power that did her in for the vote, and allowing herself to be in that position appears to be Bianca's biggest regret.

Bianca was absolutely devastated upon her vote-out. Her tears were uncontrollable, and apparently she even got a bloody nose. It is heartbreaking to lose your chance at a dream, and Bianca's raw reaction is evidence of that.

In the end, there is not much else she could have done. Telling Cedrek about the vote was a mistake, but I understand her logic. Lying to the whole tribe would burn those bridges, even if she had survived, and she needed a new number one. As far as going on the journey, it is hard to push back once the tribe has made a decision.

Bianca played the game she needed to, it just did not work out. That happens sometimes. Hopefully she holds her head high and is proud that she was able to play the game she loved.
