Easily one of the most legendary Survivor players in the show's history, Cirie Fields is included in discussions about the best players ever, even though she hasn't won the game. Fortunately, however, fans will soon see Cirie get another chance to prevail during Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans. As exciting as her playing again is, fans like me certainly hope that Cirie's worst Survivor 50 fear didn't come true, especially since it might be her last season ever.
If Survivor 50 does wind up being Cirie's last season, most of her fans will be hoping that she becomes the Sole Survivor. Perhaps more importantly, viewers will hope that the season is worthy of being the last chapter in the legendary players' truly incredible journey on the show. Fortunately, something that Cirie said about the season makes it seem like viewers should be excited that it might be fantastic.
Cirie Fields called Survivor 50 the "best season ever"
In July 2025, Cirie Fields spoke to E! News about Survivor 50 after getting back from filming the upcoming landmark season. While speaking to the outlet, the reality show legend was wise enough not to say anything specific about what happened during the season. What Cirie said should still get fans very excited since she believes Survivor 50 will be the "best season ever."
"I can tell you one thing about season 50, and I haven't said this about any other season, I've watched since Richard Hatch [won season one]. I'm a fan as well as a contestant. Best season ever. Best. Not just because I was there. Best. Season. Ever."
During the same interview, Cirie also spoke to E! News about how she approached playing during a season like Survivor 50. As viewers should already know, fans were able to vote about several aspects of the season, which means that players couldn't know what to expect. However, Cirie told the outlet that she approached the season the same way she had when she competed in the past.
“If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? Social and strategic is what works for me. I'm just an easygoing person. I make friends very easily, and I'm authentic. People can spot a fake, especially when all of your senses are heightened. So authenticity is what really works for me.”
After reading those two quotes from Cirie, I can't wait to see what will happen during the season. After all, the first quote shows that Cirie respects the gameplay during Survivor 50 so much that she believes it could be an all-time great season. On top of that, the reality show icon's comments about how she approached the season seem to show that fans will get to see another Survivor masterclass from Cirie.
