Natalie Anderson has become part of reality television royalty. The winner of Survivor: San Juan Del Sur has appeared on a total of five different reality shows over the years, often with her sister, Nadiya. The duo, known as the "Twinnies", originally made their fame on the CBS show, The Amazing Race. Throughout her time in reality television, Natalie has earned herself the reputation of being an iconic legend.
Now, Natalie will be putting that legacy on the line as a contestant on The Traitors season 4. She joins a long legacy of players to come from CBS reality shows and attempt the competition of betrayal on Peacock. Will she be a faithful? Or will she be a traitor? And who will she be testing her gameplay against? How will she adapt her strategy to a game like The Traitors?
Natalie Anderson one of three former Survivors to make The Traitors 4

Natalie will be joining two other Survivor contestants on The Traitors, along with icon Rob Cesternino of Rob Has a Podcast, and Survivor 44 winner and fan favorite Yam Yam Arocho. She will also be among many other reality television show royalty, athletes, and entertainers. Natalie's experience competing twice on Amazing Race, including a fourth place, twice on Survivor, including a win and a second place, and once on The Challenge, where she only left after discovering she was pregnant, bodes well for The Traitors.
For those who are unaware, The Traitors is a reality television show airing on Peacock, where players enter a mansion and complete challenges to put money in the final prize pot based on their success/ However, the host selects traitors, players whose job is to deceive everyone else, known as the faithful. Each night, The Traitors will choose someone to eliminate from the game. Also, each night, the faithful are required to banish someone they believe is a traitor.
In the end, if only faithful remain, they split the pot. However, if any traitors remain, they take the prize money from the faithful. It is a game of lying and deception, and requires a high level of perceptual skills and strategy to be successful. Natalie has repeatedly shown she has these skills. She is likable but also highly observant. She is an athlete who is valuable at challenges. She has a great deal of strategy and ability to deceive if needed. There is a reason other CBS and The Challenge players have historically done well on The Traitors.
Natalie joins a list of former Survivors to play on The Traitors. In season 1, Cirie Fields was nominated as a traitor and ultimately succeeded at winning the entire competition, the only US contestant to pull off the feat. In Season 2, Parvati Shallow and Sandra Diaz-Twine both played and made it far into the game, with Parvati playing as a traitor. Season 3 featured Boston Rob Mariano and Carolyn Wiger as traitors, and Tony Vlachos and Jeremy Collins as faithful. By far the most successful was Carolyn, who made it close to the end.
It will now be Natalie's turn to show what she is made of.
What to expect from Natalie on The Traitors

First off, will Natalie be a traitor or a faithful? We will not know until the show airs, and it is entirely chosen by host Alan Cumming. That said, the cast does get to tell Alan their preference, and I firmly believe Natalie will ask to be a traitor. Based on everything she has done in her reality show stints, she is able to deceive and strategize very well. If history is an indication, a Survivor player will be chosen as one of the traitors, and although Yam Yam and Rob both likely want it as well, it is decent odds she will get chosen.
Regardless, it would seem that Natalie would have a target on her back. She has played many reality shows and has a win under her belt. Other players, if they have seen any previous seasons, should know that reality television competition stars do well in the game, and have the experience in deception that other players do not. If they are smart, they will look at former Survivor and Big Brother players first, and Natalie's multiple experiences make her a prime suspect.
That said, the cast may not do that, and if anyone has the skills to navigate starting off on their back foot, it is Natalie. She has found herself in tough spots multiple times before and worked her way around them. It will be very interesting to see how she does in the game and where her social skills currently lie in terms of influencing others. The season premiere has not been announced, but the expectation is that The Traitors season 4 will air in the fall.
