There are only a few episodes of Survivor season 46 left. Heading into episode 10, there are only eight contestants left. So far, 10 people have been voted out of Survivor season 46.

After Hunter, one of the strongest players in the game, was eliminated in episode 9 with a hidden immunity idol in his pocket, the game is truly open for any one of the remaining players to make a run at the $1 million prize and title of Sole Survivor. Honestly, there's a case for every player to win, except for Q, who alienated himself immediately after the merge with disastrous gameplay.

"Run the Red Light" is the name of the tenth episode of the season. We don't know what it's a reference to, but we can't wait to find out!

What time is Survivor on tonight?

The tenth episode of Survivor season 46, "Run the Red Light," airs at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. You can watch the episode on CBS and Paramount+.

Like almost every episode of the season, the episode is an hour and a half long! So, it'll wrap up around 9:30 p.m. ET. You have to watch out for spoilers online around that time. I live on the West Coast, and I've already had a few episodes this season spoiled by just taking a spin on Twitter. You have been warned!

Episode 10 synopsis and preview

"Run the Red Light" looks like it's shaping up to be one of the most exciting episodes, if not the most exciting, of the season so far. What happens in this episode will set up the rest of the game. There are eight contestants left, so this vote has the potential to be the turning point in the game for the winner. Who can pick out a solid four? That's the goal right now!

Here's the synopsis for the episode, via CBS:

"Castaways compete for the biggest reward of the season, and an outburst resulting from the reward challenge could lead to a strategic shift in this week’s target. Then, an eerie sense of agreeability around camp causes castaways to second guess their vote before tribal council..."

An outburst, you say? How coincidental. Of course, I'm referring to the Next Time on Survivor preview at the end of episode 9.

The preview begins with Liz losing her mind, which has to be the outburst that the synopsis refers to. In the preview, Liz says, "These people are making my mind crazy." Then, there's clips of her crying and screaming on the beach and at camp.

Then, the focus shifts to Q with someone, likely Venus, saying, "Q is causing chaos," and Ben saying, "I want him the hell out of here." Then, Liz is screaming in the background, possibly at Q, "You blew up my whole game!"

What is going on? And yes, please on this serving of drama!

Then, Maria makes her move! This is the most important part of the preview. She approaches Q with a plan to take back control of the game. She tells Q that everyone is "coming for him," but she offers him a lifeline and says, "but you can change that."

Maria, then, says in a confessional, "This could be a game-winning move." Well, well, well, Maria is ready to win the game!

It's so interesting to see how she's slowly becoming for aggressive. Obviously, the time to make the move is right now. Is helping Q the right move? He could flip on her!

Episode 10 Sneak Peek

We also have the sneak peek at the new episode to share, too! In the sneak peek, we catch up with the castaways following the last vote to take out Hunter. Liz was left out of the vote. She thought they were taking out Q, but the plan all along after Hunter revealed he had an idol was to split the votes between Q and Hunter and then take out Hunter.

It's so silly that happened, especially when Hunter had an idol! It's a bummer he overplayed his hand, as Venus says in the sneak peek. Tiffany mentions that the smoke screen was so good that Hunter thought it was actually Q that would be going home. That's exactly what happened. Well played, tribe!

Tiffany, then, lays out her plan to take out Q! Based on the synopsis and preview, we know Q is going to be targeted, but will the chaos agent be able to save himself? We'll just have to wait and see!

Survivor season 46 episode 10 airs at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 1!
