Rick Devens has beef with one of the celebs from Survivor 50

On a Big Brother live cam, Rick Devens and Dee Valladares discussed one of the celebrities involved in Survivor 50 and Devens spilled some tea…

“Epic Party” – 24 returning players are abandoned on the islands of Fiji for a monumental 50th season, with the chance to win $1 million. The theme of the season, “In the Hands of the Fans,” quickly materializes as decisions from the fan vote swiftly and forcefully impact the game in Survivor 50. One of the highs and lows of Survivor 50 was definitely the celebrity “fan” involvement. While MrBeast’s participation with his Super Beware Advantage that put $1 million more into the final prize pot has been widely praised by fans and television critics alike, the twists from Billie Eilish, Jimmy Fallon, and Zac Brown more or less fell flat.

And now, while Rick Devens and Dee Valladares are taking over the Big Brother house this summer, we got a little more insight into how the contestants felt about the celebrities—specifically one who showed up on the island itself.

In a recent Big Brother live cam (clipped below), Devens admitted that while some of the Survivor 50 cast stayed in touch with Zac Brown after his reward appearance, the country singer, “never DM’d [him] back.” Dee confirms that he did respond to her messages and Devens goes on to joke—or not?—about how Zac Brown probably hates him because, “he and Joe [Hunter] are so close.”

Dee giggled in response to Devens’ reference to Joe, who held a one-sided enemy-ship throughout the entire season as—no matter what Devens did—Joe was always upset with the former news anchor. But when someone asked if that was a joke, Devens straight up said, “No, he and Joe apparently text each other.”

In Zac’s defense, Devens couldn’t even remember the musician’s name when talking about his appearance with Dee with the other Big Brother contestants. So when Dee reminded Devens that she cried when she saw him on that beach—and Devens claimed to have no clue who he was—it made sense that Zac Brown would respond to Dee and not Devens.

But apparently, Devens is once again in a one-sided beef because he said he would totally go to a Zac Brown concert, “if he invited me,” and that the ball is completely in Zac’s court to return his DM.

Luckily for Devens, I bet MrBeast would DM him back after Devens made MrBeast’s twist worth watching with his reckless abandon for the game, throwing himself into a game of change for immunity and an extra $1 million. Heck, with Devens’ latest reality show appearance in the Big Brother house this summer, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw Deven get invited to compete in a future MrBeast video.
