Survivor 48 has come to an end, and we know exactly who has been named the winner and Sole Survivor of season 48. Now, we're going to look at whether that player deserved to win or not.

Spoilers ahead for the Survivor 48 finale and the winner!

After an interesting season with some very solid alliances, Kyle Fraser has officially won Survivor 48, but did he deserve to win that title?

As viewers, we know that Kyle made a lot of big moves. While not all of his moves were done in a way that was obvious, he definitely did not play a scared game.

At the same time, he was very good at building relationships with the other players. In fact, at one point, it almost seemed like he had too many alliances going, because if he wanted to connect with everyone, he would have to betray people, eventually.

Kyle won Survivor 48 by playing a strategic game that was silent but solid

Ultimately, Kyle played a solid game. We do know that if he had sat next to Kamilla Karthigesu at the end, he would have lost. It was stated by Star Toomey that every single member of that jury would have voted for her to win. And yet, he made the strategic and smart move of forcing her to make fire to get into the Final Three. Since she was unable to make fire, she didn’t make it to the Final Tribal Council. This allowed him the path to earning the title of sole Survivor.

It was truly his final pitch to the jury that cemented my belief that he deserved to win. His ability to explain the way he played this game was so solid. It was clear that his legal background gave him everything he needed to be able to sell the jury on his gameplay. He had no problem admitting to the decisions that he made, the moves that he and Kamilla decided to make and also discussing the relationships that he built.

Perhaps the greatest aspect of his game was his ability to make moves without anybody figuring him out. In turn, being able to break those moves down in a way that garnered respect from the jury.

I think what Kyle did best was explain his game. He really knew how to sell the jury on him being the person who should win. And at the same time, I think he did play a solid game. Do I think he should’ve made some different moves throughout the game? Absolutely. There were things that he did that made me question whether or not he should win the game. But at the end of the day, he not only did enough to win, he also was able to convince everyone else that he did.

I definitely believe that Kyle deserved the win on Survivor 48, and clearly, I was not the only one.
