We're only a few weeks away from CBS officially announcing the Survivor 48 cast, but that hasn't stopped the Survivor sleuths from revealing the rumored Survivor 48 cast on Reddit.
Thanks to Reddit user ben_s16, all 18 new players from Survivor have been revealed. Obviously, we can't verify how accurate the list is. CBS revealed the first look at Survivor 48 during the Survivor 47 finale while the cast was celebrating Rachel LaMont's win on the After Show.
Of course, CBS did not name the players featured in the teaser, but by my calculation, they do show all 18 players and the pictures of the cast from Reddit does seem to match up with the players featured in the teaser.
As we all know by now, Survivor 48 features 18 new players, just like every season of the new era. That will change in Survivor 50 when Jeff Probst and the gang bring back Survivor players for the first time since Survivor: Winners at War (season 40).
Rumored Survivor 48 cast
Looking at the rumored list, there are a few things that stand out. There's an even split between men and women. Overall, this cast doesn't appear to skew older. There is only three players in their 40s and 50s, which is pretty typical for Survivor in the new era. Most of the players are in their early 30s, though, with only three players in their 20s.
We shared the full list of all 18 players rumored to be competing in Survivor 48 below. Remember, this is just the rumored cast, via Reddit. It's not the official list from CBS yet, but based on the history of the series and accuracy of these scoops, there's a good chance this information is accurate.

Survivor 48 tribe rumors
In the trailer for Survivor 48, which we shared above, we do get to see the players arriving on the beach for the first time and competing in what appears to be the first challenge of the season or one of the first challenges of the season. There are several interviews and confessionals with players while they are wearing their buffs, as well. Eagle-eyed Reddit users were able to figure out who was on each tribe to start the season.
Again, this is speculation, but it seems to be true based on the video evidence that we have so far. We still don't know the tribe names, although CBS usually shares that information with press when the official cast list is revealed.
Here's what that tribe breakdown looks like, thanks to Reddit user Antique_Ability9648:
Purple | Green | Orange |
---|---|---|
Bianca Roses | Stephanie Berger | Mitch Guerra |
Thomas Krottringer | Cedrik McFadden | Charity Nelms |
Shauhin Davari | Justin Pioppi | David Kinne |
Joe Hunter | Saiounia Hughley | Chrissy Sarnowski |
Eva Erickson | Kevin Leung | Kyle Fraser |
Star Toomey | Mary Zheng | Kamila Karthigesu |
As mentioned, CBS usually reveals the Survivor 48 cast a few weeks before the season begins. The ramp-up also includes new teasers and announcements, including which Survivor 47 player will be selected to host On Fire with Jeff Probst alongside Jeff Probst and Jay Wolff. So, we should learn a lot more about the new season as we get closer to that season premiere.
One of my favorite things that Survivor did for season 47 was the in-depth interviews before the game started. The video, which was nearly 20 minutes long, only featured a minute or so with each player, but it was the perfect introduction to those players. It totally shaped how I viewed the season. Fingers crossed we get that interview segment for Survivor 48!
Survivor 48 premieres on CBS and Paramount+ on Wednesday, Feb. 26! We'll be following along all season. Stay tuned for more news about the Survivor 48 cast!
