The moment we’ve been waiting for is almost here. The Survivor 50 finale airs this Wednesday, May 20 at 8 p.m. on CBS and Paramount+ and we’re sharing a sneak peek at our castaways’ return to camp after the end of a double elimination episode that resulted in both Rick Devens and Cirie Fields landing on the jury.
And there’s one player who is riding high, literally claiming they’re feeling like “$2 million” as they’ve secured themselves a spot not only in the Final Five, but in the Final Four. And yes, that player is Rizo Velovic who—for the second season in a row—has solidified himself a spot in the Final Four by holding onto his idol for essentially the entire game.
In our YouTube exclusive clip, Rizo returns from camp sharing his excitement for being smart enough to hold onto his idol as well as bringing together Aubry Bracco, Jonathan Young, and Joe Hunter to help blindside Cirie. But in doing so, they also blindsided Tiffany Ervin and she’s not thrilled. She starts puttering around camp as Jonathan, Joe, and Rizo just kind of watch from the sidelines unsure how to approach her. Of course those three are the last people she wants to talk to after thinking they were on Cirie’s side going into the vote.
But in a confessional, Rizo goes on to say that while he loves Cirie, it would have been stupid for him to go to the end with her because she’s one of the greatest Survivor players of all time and definitely would have won. Especially when she nearly moved the vote off of her and onto Aubry. And by making the conversations in the prior episode focused between Aubry and Cirie, Rizo did what he does best—moved any thought of targeting out of the picture.

Now he’s sitting pretty with his idol sliding him into the Final Four, though he can only use it on himself, so it loses its power to make yet another shocking move. If he had a regular idol and wanted to guarantee Aubry in the Final Four with him, he could easily say, “I’m playing it on me” and then play it on her only to blindside the second-to-last member of the jury. But alas, that won’t be happening.
However, we still don’t know if there’s going to be a Final Four fire-making challenge this season. And if there is, will this be Rizo’s chance to make it to the Final Three or will he win his first immunity necklace and be sitting in the driver's seat to decide who gets to go to fire instead? Lots of moments we still can’t predict going into the finale, but we can’t wait to see what happens!
