After a historic run on Survivor 49, Rizo Velovic knew his time on that island wasn’t over. Less than two weeks after filming his first season, he hopped back on a plane and flew out to Fiji for Survivor 50 where “the man, the myth, the legend…R-I-Z-G-O-D” played against some of his Survivor heroes.
But apparently back-to-back seasons on a reality competition show isn’t where the story (hopefully) ends for our Fourth Place King. In a recent exclusive from People, Rizo shared his future reality show aspirations, recalling how Survivor provided, “opportunities that my life didn’t have before.”
Now he can dream big, which includes competing with his girlfriend, Elizabeth Doqaj, who he refers to as his “true ride or die” as she was one of his biggest pillars of support both while he was away filming back-to-back seasons and when they were watching all 26 weeks of him play on television.

“I love social strategy games,” Rizo explained to People back in June. “Survivor kind of has my loyalty and my heart, but I would love to do The Amazing Race with my girlfriend.” And with the history of Survivor couples who have competed on Survivor’s sister show, we’d personally love to see RizGod and “LizGod” team up to take on the world—literally.
But that’s not the only show he’d consider joining should the opportunity arise. “The Traitors I think I’d be really good at. I would do Big Brother if it was shortened—90 days is a little too much for the RizGod. But any of those shows, I would love to do.”
Considering “the lure of Survivor was always the social strategy” for Rizo, we could totally see him crushing it as a Traitor on The Traitors. “You saw it on Survivor 50,” he continues, “I’m like, ‘I’m not here to play camp. I’m here to cut some throats and win some money.’” It doesn’t hurt that one of his closest allies on Survivor 50, Cirie Fields, was a Traitor on the show’s very first season and then went on to win the entire thing.

In fact, he’s made a lot of friends during his time on Survivor who are great strategic deceivers. There’s surely no end to the people who could give him the best tips as far as any of these shows goes.
“I’d say my closest friends from Survivor 49 are Savannah Louie, the winner, and Sophie Balerdi,” Rizo shared, both of whom were great strategists and secret keepers throughout the season. “Then from season 50, honestly...Cirie I’m very close with. Dee [Valladares], Aubry [Bracco], Rick [Devens], Tiff [Ervin]. There’s so many—Colby [Donaldson], Q [Burdette], Genevieve [Mushaluk], Kyle [Fraser], Kamilla [Karthigesu]. There’s too many to count, but I’ve luckily made a big family because of Survivor.”
And considering the percentage of that big Survivor family that has gone on to compete in other shows, if Rizo is putting it out into the universe, I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets a casting call and shows up on our screens again, sooner rather than later.
