The greatest part of Survivor is the fact that viewers at home can never truly predict who’s going to win because the Sole Survivor is selected by a jury of peers and we honestly have no idea how they’ll ultimately vote. But of course, that doesn’t stop us fans from having opinions on who we think should win the game based on the edit we watched.
I’ve personally been on Team Aubry Bracco since the cast was announced last year. I think it’s her time to win and I will be thrilled if she does. I was also rooting for Christian Hubicki, so you can understand why I’m no longer a Jimmy Fallon fan.
Jokes aside, the fans have been commenting all throughout the season as moves were made, blindsides led to unexpected torches being snuffed, and twists galore entered the game. And now in the latest poll, we’re seeing which of our finalists they most want to take home the $2 million prize and title of Sole Survivor.
P.S. If you haven’t joined the Surviving Tribal fan community on Facebook yet, what are you doing? We’d love to see you there!

The majority of fans are hoping Joe Hunter becomes the Sole Survivor of season 50.
While all of our players received votes in their favor, Joe definitely saw the most comments and likes with 86 total votes from fans wanting him to win tonight. Full breakdown of everyone’s votes below:
Joe Hunter: 86 votes
Aubry Bracco: 46 votes
Jonathan Young: 37 votes
Rizo Velovic: 33 votes
Tiffany Ervin: 21 votes
Of course, the fan favorite is not always the winner. In fact, most of the time they’re not the winner. That’s why Survivor’s been known to do their end of season fan favorite vote (sponsored by Sia this year) so that the player who connected the best with the fans still gets to take home something of substance.

And while there’s no question that Joe is beloved by viewers, after a review of the entire season, it’s safe to say that of our Final Five, he might not have played the best game that the jury would honor with votes in the end. Because of this, it’s likely he'll make it to Final Tribal Council to plead his case, but the odds are against him as most of the people sitting on the jury will be voting for the player with the most dynamic resume.
That leaves Aubry, Tiffany, and Rizo as the most likely potential winners of Survivor 50. Comparatively, these three made moves rather than simply taking direction from others and then claiming credit for a blindside. But we’ll have to wait until tonight to see who wins it all! Watch the Survivor 50 finale tonight, Wednesday, May 20 at 8 p.m. on CBS and Paramount+.
