I’m worried these 3 Survivor 48 players are in danger of getting voted out next

Heading into the eighth episode of Survivor 48, I’m convinced these three players could be in danger of becoming the next member of the jury.

If there is one thing that Survivor 48 episode 7 taught us, it’s that no one is safe in the game and that it’s hard to tell when someone is truly in danger.

The seventh episode of the season brought about a surprise double elimination in which two more players saw their games coming to an end. Across the episode, there was a lot of back-and-forth among the remaining players when it came to who they should vote out next during the tribal councils. Heading into the two tribal council votes, we really thought blindsides could be coming for two standout players as the players honed in on Mitch and Shauhin as potential candidates to take out.

Ultimately, the players chose not to vote the pair out and went for more safe plays in voting Sai and Cedrek out, with Sai becoming the final player to go home before jury and Cedrek becoming our first juror of the season. It was a reminder that sometimes editing can lead to a major misdirect, as the episode framing had us believe the pari could be in danger only for the focus to come back on two players who have had a target on their backs for several episodes.

Episode editing can make it hard to know just how things might play out, but I’m not going to lie after watching the promo for the next episode, I am convinced that CBS might have just hinted at which players could be in danger of becoming the next member of the jury – and it’s a trio we did not expect to come under heat following the events of episode 7!

Joe Hunter

The first player whose name comes up in the promo is Joe, who catches heat via Chrissy as she tells Kyle that they need to go for the head and take out Joe. This news takes Kyle by surprise as well, and he ends up telling Joe about his name coming up, and Joe is equally surprised.

Chrissy coming for Joe is honestly something we didn’t see coming at this point as the pair seem to have a good rapport and didn’t seem to be on one another’s radar at first. Chrissy definitely is justified in wantong to take a shot at Joe given how well liked he is among the tribe and his strong of a competitor he is, but we have to question whether her timing might be off.

Could this be a shot in the dark that leads to Chrissy’s name coming up at tribal council as a result? We defintely have to wonder if that might be the case as Joe has a lot of allies in the game while Chrissy doesn’t exactly have a strong alliance at this point in the game. Still, all it takes sometimes is one very vocal voice pushing for a player to go to turn the tide and we have to worry about whether Chrissy singling Joe out could result in his name coming up at tribal council.

Kamilla Karthigesu

Another name that comes up unexpectedly in the promo for episode 8 is Kamilla, who seems to emerge as a target for David. The only problem is that he voices his plan to get Kamilla out of the game to her top ally in the game by making it known to Kyle that he wants to target Kamilla. Kyle quickly takes this news back to his ally and she’s not happy at all that David is working to flip things onto Kamilla.

Kamilla has been playing a flawless game for the most part, but it’s clear she’s starting to turn heads, and if David is coming for her, we have to worry that her game could start to blow up on her. We haven’t seen a lot of discussion among the group about how Kamilla and Kyle managed to pull off the blindside that sent Thomas home, but perhaps that will come into play and raise flags that lead to David calling Kamilla out.

Whatever the story might be, the fact that Kamilla’s name is coming up makes us worry about whether she could be seen as a threat that needs to be taken out.

David Kinne

This brings us to the final player I fear could be in hot water when the next tribal council comes around: David Kinne.

David has been flying a bit under the radar so far, which is a surprise given that the dude is literally the season’s biggest physical threat. However, that might soon change as David takes aim at Kamilla which is about to create some drama at camp.

From the moment Kyle catches wind of David’s plan to target Kamilla, he takes the information back to her, and we see she’s clearly ready to put up a fight. This could spell trouble for David as Kamilla has proven to be one of the most strategic minds this season. We can totally see Kamilla pulling the right strings to get people to flip on David and target him at tribal council, and he did himself no good in showing just how big of a physical threat he is with the last immunity challenge.

David could very well be in danger of becoming the second member of the jury and might have picked the wrong battle in targeting Kamilla.
