Sleep is for the weak, apparently, as Adam Klein was up answering questions about Survivor Millennials vs Gen X last night until close to 7 AM today.

The theme of Survivor Millennials vs Gen X was put on a bit too harshly at times, as it was made clear that the Gen X-ers preferred to work harder, nor smarter, for their livelihoods. Meanwhile, the Millenial lifestyle was all about embracing the freedom to work smarter, not harder, to advance yourself in life. Adam Klein may fit into both camps.

The winner of last season’s show is a super fan of the game, going so far as to embed himself deep into Survivor online communities such as the show’s official subreddit. He’s the first fan from Reddit, specifically, to become the Sole Survivor, so Adam Klein dedicated a staggering twelve hours last night and this morning to answering Reddit fan questions in an Ask Me Anything thread.

Answering over 125 different questions, with some answers reaching almost 900 words, Adam wanted to pour his heart and soul into every response he could get to. One of the top questions came from Survivor Tocantins and Survivor Cambodia player Stephen Fishbach, asking about the actual edit versus what Adam thought the edit would show. Interestingly enough, in Adam’s mind, they made him look worse to throw viewers off the trail of who would win.

It’s funny to see just how conniving Adam Klein can be from some of these answers. According to him, he thought he and David had a shot of going to a fire-making challenge, so he stole all the flints from camp so that David couldn’t practice! Apparently, though, nobody noticed at camp. Furthermore, Tai Trang came to one of Adam’s watch parties with some honey, prompting Adam to ask if he made it. “No, the bees made it,” Tai said, showing just how hilarious he is off-camera as he is on it.

The most humbling moment of the AMA came from when Jay Starrett, a fellow castaway, asked Adam Klein if he would ever fully love him.

"Jay, I fully loved you from the moment you said “you come on, man. You didn’t do it.” I loved you more than you could possibly know in that moment, and it hasn’t wavered since. You are a brother to me, always. I hate you passionately you damn maniac, but I love you even more."

In all honesty, it it one of the most sincere, detailed, honest “Ask Me Anything” pieces I’ve ever seen, allowing fans to peer further behind the curtain than others may have expected. Who knew that Jeff Probst would call a player a “you-know-what-block,” or that Bret would win a vote from him in a Bret-Ken-Hannah final tribal council scenario.

It’s gonna be hard to top, but 7 PM ET tonight the definitive Survivor game changer, Richard Hatch, is also expected to answer questions on the Survivor subreddit. We’re too spoiled!
