In a bid to get more people to pay monthly for access to bonus content, CBS All Access is the only place left to watch new Survivor Ponderosa videos.
Update: It appears as though the Survivor Ponderosa videos have been found not only on CBS All Access, but on the CBS website since this article was released. We have updated the article where necessary.
Original: Debbie seems to believe that Sarah is working both her and Brad over in bids to get to the final tribal council. Andrea asks the merged tribe if they like the name “Maku Maku.” Hali, despite her profession as a lawyer, seeks to own her free spirit self that got her on Worlds Apart. Ozzy would rather enjoy himself and his Survivor experience than sacrifice it all for the million dollars. Half secret scenes, half Survivor Ponderosa, zero percent available on YouTube.
CBS has been pushing to get people to subscribe to their CBS All Access online television streaming service for a while now, and have been scraping back entertaining pieces of content once readily available on YouTube.
Secret scenes were deleted moments of levity that brought depth to the characters on the show, so it makes sense that it was forced as a paid online CBS All Access exclusive. Extended confessionals were often a bit rambly and served little purpose to the episodes, so keeping that as a CBS-only exclusive made sense.

Update: However, now it appears as though the Survivor Ponderosa videos are only available on CBS, which serves plenty of problems that disservice the core viewing audience. First off, Ponderosa acts as a moment in time to help us understand the jury members as people in a relaxed, self-reflective environment where they can truly be themselves. We’re so used to seeing these characters as players more than humans, and getting the jury’s perspective in life helps us understand who they are.

Which bleeds into the next point; Survivor Ponderosa videos also let us look at exactly what the jury is looking at when it comes to their winner vote. Hali mentions wanting to look at someone who controls the game within Survivor Game Changers, providing a valuable perspective to consider ahead of the final episode.
Finally, Survivor is a great game that earns a loyal international following. However, this decision prevents non-US citizens from even accessing CBS videos due to international rights, barring complete access to that crucial content.

Survivor Ponderosa is legitimately one of the better segments outside of the game, and for CBS to obstruct viewing of them through their website after so many years of free access on YouTube is quite the disappointment.
