It looks like one of the neatest ladies to play Survivor is celebrating their birthday today, as Monica Culpepper has turned 47 years old.

Player: Monica Culpepper
Occupation: Homemaker
Hometown: Tampa, FL
Seasons: One World, Blood vs. Water
Tribes: Salani (Aqua Buff), Manono (Orange Buff) on Blood vs. Water, Galang (Yellow Buff), Kasama (Purple Buff)
Finished: 14/18 in One World, 2/20 in Blood vs. Water

Survivor has made fans from all walks of life. Whether it’s the rich and famous or the woman who got up off her couch and went on the play four times, this show has presented a wide array of Americans. Monica Culpepper sought to get on her favorite show and was loved enough to bring back her and her husband, Brad Culpepper. The two of them making it to a Final Tribal Council in their second seasons makes them one of the best-performing Survivor couples.

But back to Monica. There wasn’t much to speak of her One World play, but she was taken out in 14th place due to her challenge threat. She was taken out by the “Misfit” alliance in a huge blindside, as she was too busy playing nice over playing the game.

That all changed in Survivor Blood vs. Water, where Monica Culpepper started playing for Monica. As such, she birthed the beginning of Thirdpersonica; someone who keeps referring to herself in the third person.

Jokes about the neat lady aside, she came to play. Leading the individual Immunity Challenge wins on Blood vs. Water was Monica Culpepper, showing a grit that she could have shown in an individual game in One World. She got a lot of heat on behalf of Brad Culpepper, but weathered the storm and made sure to put herself in a good alliance and make it to the end without having blood on her hands.

Monica is clearly a source of inspiration for Brad Culpepper, as he constantly asked “What Would Monica Do” during Survivor Game Changers. That and her presence at the Loved One’s visit may have fueled his second-place game, showing the mutual love and respect within the Culpepper family.
