Even though he’s not playing the game anymore, Survivor season 35 episode 12 juror Joe Mena is the biggest hype man for tonight’s episode.

Love him, hate him, love to hate him or hate to love him, Joe Mena has been one of the better parts of following Survivor content on Twitter. The man had an early peak into 280 characters when us mere mortals were limited to just 140, and he made sure not to take the privilege lightly with some mind-bending introspective into the season as it happened.

Unfortunately, he was a victim of the double-length episode’s cruel, unyielding fate, as he was sent home before he could take out the biggest threat in the game, Ben Driebergen. Even after calming down, getting a shave and reconnecting with someone he truly didn’t expect to see at Survivor Ponderosa, he’s still making appearances at future Tribal Councils.

There aren’t many left in the season, but his very first trip as a member of the jury looks to be electric, daring and have people asking “wtf” about what exactly happens. The promise comes in a Joe Mena tweet, doubling down on his sincerity by saying, “Tonight’s episode will have you screaming at your television.

The comments about “not trolling,” specifically calling out the Survivor subreddit, is in reference to both his insistence on lurking in that community and reading their positive and negative comments about him and their insistence that he just tweets out trolling misdirects after admitting as much before his boot episode.
