I don't know about you, but I think we're headed for an absolutely "unforgettable" episode ofSurvivorinSurvivor 48, episode 12, "Icarus Time." One of these players who made the Final Six is about to get voted out ofSurvivor 48and miss out on the seasonfinale!
Once you make the Final Five in Survivor, you are a member of the finale. You have a 20% chance ofwinning the game. You have a 60% chance of presenting your case to the jury at Final Tribal Council. This is the group everySurvivorplayer wants to be a part of. Yet, one player from this group is about to have their heart broken. TheSurvivor 48finaleis going to be a three-hour episode, and it airs on Wednesday, May 21, on CBS and Paramount+.
For this group, it's going to sting. For the most part, these six players have been playing together in some form or fashion for a long time. Since the merge, the majority alliance ofKyle Fraser, Shauhin Davari,Joe Hunter, and Eva Erickson has seemingly controlled the game, but they've voted with Kamilla Karthigesu and Mitch Guerra multiple times throughout this run. So, it's going to be a very messy vote, and someone is going to be hurt by how this shakes out.
Who is that player going to be? I picked three players who are most likely to be voted out inSurvivor48 episode 12.
Joe Hunter

I could be totally misreading the game, but I think Joe is going to winSurvivor 48if he makes it to Final Tribal Council. The players seem very mad in their exit interviews, but Joe still has a chance to break theSurvivorrecord for most immunity wins. If that happens, he is going to win. While I don't think he has the respect of the jury for basically controlling the game with "honor and integrity," I think most would reward record-setting gameplay.
As the biggest threat, Joe has the biggest target on his back. Themove is right therefor Kyle, Kamilla, Shauhin, and Mitch to vote out Joe if he doesn't win immunity. Eva could play her idol for him, but that opens her up to elimination, which would be such a bad move at this point of the game. If they don't win immunity, they should be voted out, and that's why I think the most likely scenario is Joe getting voted out ofSurvivor 48in the penultimate episode.
There's also the chance that Kyle, Kamilla, and Shauhin go with another easy vote and wait to try to make their move at the Final Five. At that point, it might be too late to stop Joe and Eva, but it's definitely still possible.
Mitch Guerra

If Joe isn't voted out, and an epic blindside on Eva Erickson doesn't happen either, Mitch is probably the most likely person to go home. Mitch has played a good game, but he hasn't been able to take advantage of the opportunities presented to him. I don't know what vehicle has five wheels, but Mitch is basically the sixth wheel on whatever vehicle that is.
He's close with Kamilla, and he seems to have some good connections with other players, but if the majority alliance holds strong, Mitch seems like the person who would be voted out. Then, Kamilla and Kyle, if they are planning to make a big move against the alliance, have a few pitches that could be made to sway Shauhin.
It'll be interesting to see how it all shakes out, but outside of Joe, Mitch is probably the person most likely to be voted out ofSurvivor 48in this episode.
Kamilla Karthigesu

It pains me to put Kamilla in this spot, but unfortunately, she is in danger of beingvoted outin episode 12. She's been my favorite player this season. There's no doubt she's been a little bit of an underdog in terms of players' perception of her gameplay, but she's running circles around these people strategically. I would have loved to see her play in a more open season with less of a majority alliance controlling the game, but Kamilla has played it well, and she might just steal the win at the last second.
If Kyle flips on hissecret allianceand chooses to stay with Shauhin, Joe, and Eva, Kamilla is probably going home right here. It makes more sense to keep her around until the Final Five for Kyle, but if Joe, Eva, and Shauhin want Kamilla out, Kyle will have a huge decision to make.
I think Kamilla survives this vote and makes the finale, but she's in a tough spot with only two episodes left.
We'll find out exactly what happens soon! WatchSurvivor 48episode 12 on Wednesday, May 14, on CBS and Paramount+.
