Survivor 48 elimination order: Everyone voted out so far

We're down to the Final Four in Survivor 48!
“Icarus Time” – Castaways must decide between choosing heart over head as they enter the final six and last stage of the game. Finally, someone made a big blindside move in Survivor 48 episode 12, "Icarus Time," and it might be the move that wins this season. For the first time in a while, we were surprised by the player who was voted out during Tribal Council during the episode.

Then, in the season finale, with the game on line, Kyle Fraser and Kamila Karthigesu took their foot off the gas a little bit. After Kamilla won immunity in a shocking challenge, it seemed like destiny for Joe Hunter to be voted out, but did that happen? Let's talk about it!

As things stand, 14 players have been voted out of Survivor 48. Only four players are left competing for the title of Sole Survivor and the $1 million prize. We also have seven jury members, too!

This season is also on the short list of Survivor seasons with incredibly powerful and emotional moments. That was definitely the theme of episode 5, "Master Class in Deception, which included several players opening up about their heritage and the path that led them to Survivor. Of course, it also included one of the more powerful and impactful moments in the show's history with Joe Hunter trying to calm Eva Erickson after she became overwhelmed following a challenge win.

Jeff Probst was definitely right that this is a great group of players. The Survivor 48 cast is super competitive, and they're already plotting how they're going to win this game.

Throughout Survivor 48, we'll be sharing which players get voted out in each new episode. We hope you use this as a resource as you watch the new season of Survivor and follow along from home.

So, who were the first three players voted out in Survivor 48? Let's get into it!

Stephanie Berger

The Get to Know You Game
“The Get to Know You Game” – Eighteen new castaways will be abandoned on the breathtaking islands of Fiji, where they must battle it out for the $1 million prize. Tribes must claim victory in the first challenge of the season to earn essential camp supplies. Then, first impressions go a long way as tribemates quickly make connections and size each other up, on the two-hour season premiere of SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Feb. 26 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on | CBS
  • Voted out: First
  • Jury: No

Stephanie Berger was the first person voted out of Survivor 48. After watching the season premiere, it was pretty clear that she was going to be targeted even before the immunity challenge if Vula lost. There's a pretty strong alliance of Sai Hughley, Justin Pioppi, Kevin Leung, and Cedrek McFadden on the Vula tribe. Stephanie didn't do herself any favors by volunteering for the puzzle and struggling to help Kevin put it all together during the challenge.

For a minute, it looked like Sai might be in jeopardy after finding the first hidden immunity idol and asking her tribemates for help. They know she has an idol, and it's clear that put a target on her back.

In the end, Stephanie played her Shot in the Dark, but she was not safe from the vote. She was voted out in a 4-1 split. Mary was the player who voted for Sai, and we all know that's going to come up again.

Kevin Leung

Humble Traits
“Humble Traits” – A frantic idol hunt could save or ruin one castaway’s game. A castaway’s quick decision making must outlast the test of time when three castaways are sent on a journey. Then, castaways take a leap of faith in their second immunity challenge where they must trust their tribemates to beat out their competition, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, March 5 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME | CBS
  • Voted out: Second
  • Jury: No

After losing the immunity and reward challenge in pathetic fashion, the Vula tribe returns to Tribal Council in the second episode. This tribe is drastically overmatched, and it's probably only going to get worse.

Kevin Leung, dealing with a shoulder injury suffered in the Marooning challenge, was targeted after Sai Hughley played her idol. It looked like Mary Zheng was in trouble after losing her vote on the Journey, but she ended up being safe after word got back to Sai that Kevin was planning to jump ship on the alliance with Sai, Cedrek McFadden, and Justin Pioppi.

In the end, it wasn't close. Kevin was the second person voted out of Survivor 48.

Justin Pioppi

Committing to the Bit
“Committing to the Bit” – Castaways must fly blind during the immunity challenge, leaving one tribe with tribal council in their sights. The rising tensions within the losing tribe culminate in a historic tribal council, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, March 12 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream on Paramount+*. Jeff Probst serves as host and executive producer. Pictured (L-R): Justin Pioppi and Jeff Probst. Photo: Robert Voets/CBS ©2024 CBS Broadcasting, Inc. | CBS
  • Voted out: Third
  • Jury: No

Justin Pioppi is now a Survivor legend because he got voted out of the most confusing Tribal Council in the history of the show. There's just no way to even accurately explain the feelings that must have been going through his head during this Tribal Council. He lost his vote on the Journey. He survived two rounds of voting, and his top ally, Cedrek McFadden, had the power to eliminate one player.

In the end, Cedrek chooses Justin over Sai Hughley after Mary Zheng plays her Shot in the Dark and is safe. And, that ends Justin's short but eventful Survivor journey. He leaves the game after going to Tribal Council three times, going on a Journey, and more!

Thomas Krottinger

The House Party's Over
“The House Party’s Over” – An unexpected twist for the castaways sends the trajectory of their games into an all-new direction. An undercover alliance in the losing tribe leads to a shocking tribal council on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, March 19 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. Jeff Probst serves as | CBS
  • Voted out: Fourth
  • Jury: No

Thomas Krottinger ended up on the Vula tribe along with his Lagi alliance Shauhin Davari and Joe Hunter, along with a Civa alliance with Kamilla Karthigesu and Kyle Fraser. It looked like they had the upper hand, but Kyle played his immunity idol at Tribal Council, negating all three votes against him. Kamilla and Kyle partnered up to vote out Thomas in episode 4.

It's sad to see Thomas go because he seemed to be the most prepared player on that Lagi tribe. He'd done the dirty work to position himself in an excellent position to go far in the game. Without the tribe swap, I do think Thomas is probably one of the favorites to win Survivor 48.

As mentioned, we'll update this list as the Survivor 48 players are voted out or removed from the game.

Bianca Roses

Master Class in Deception
“Master Class in Deception” – Loose lips sink ships when one castaway’s frustrations put a wedge between them and their tribe. A shared meal breeds connection between tribemates as they discuss race and heritage. Then, an emotional immunity challenge brings two adversaries closer than ever imagined, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, March 26 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand | CBS
  • Voted out: Fifth
  • Jury: No

In a very weird Tribal Council, Bianca Roses as the fifth player voted out of Survivor 48, and I still can't quite figure out why she was voted out. Basically, Bianca did not have a vote after losing on an earlier Journey. She revealed that information to Cedrek McFadden right before Tribal Council, and somehow, Cedrek chose to vote out Bianca on a 2-1-1 vote. Sai Hughley and Chrissy Sarnowsi also received votes, which literally makes no sense. What a mess of a Tribal Council. Sorry to Bianca for being a victim to bad gameplay by her fellow tribe members.

Charity Nelms

SURVIVOR

  • Voted out: Sixth
  • Jury: No

Based on what we've seen from the other players in the episodes leading up to episode 6, it seemed like Charity's days in Survivor 48 were numbered. Some players observed Charity "playing too hard." I mean, everyone is playing hard, but once that phrase starts getting thrown around, it's only a matter of time before votes start heading that way.

And, that's exactly what happened, but Charity didn't get all the votes. While she received seven votes at Tribal Council, enough to be voted out with 13 players left in the game, Sai Hughley caught five votes, while Cedrek McFadden also caught one vote.

Sai Hughley

Committing to the Bit
“Committing to the Bit” – Castaways must fly blind during the immunity challenge, leaving one tribe with tribal council in their sights. • Voted out: Seventh
  • Jury: No

Episode 7 brought about a double elimination, and it was of little surprise that Sai Hughley was voted out first and became the final player eliminated before the jury began. Sai almost went home on multiple occasions, and there were only so many times she could narrowly avoid elimination.

Honestly, it was disappointing to see Sai going home right before jury as there is no doubt she would have shaken things up and challenged her fellow jurors. But alas, she played a bit too hard, and her fellow players felt it was best to cut her before jury began.

Cedrek McFadden

Master Class in Deception
“Master Class in Deception” – Loose lips sink ships when one castaway’s frustrations put a wedge between them and their tribe. A shared meal breeds connection between tribemates as they discuss race and heritage. Then, an emotional immunity challenge brings two adversaries closer than ever imagined, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, March 26 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand | CB
  • Voted out: Eighth
  • Jury: Yes

After Sai’s elimination in the first of two tribal councils in episode 7, her fellow Vula tribemate saw his game also come to an end in the seventh episode. Unlike Sai, Cedrek managed to secure a place on the jury and became the first member of the Survivor 48 jury.

It looked like Cedrek could make it through the vote with Shauhin Davari catching some heat during the lead-up to the tribal council. However, when it came time to vote, the tribe spoke and sent Cedrek home which made sense given his lack of connections with his fellow tribemates. With Sai and Cedrek going home back-to-back, this means Mary Zhena is the only remaining member of the original Vula tribe still in the game which will make things interesting as we enter the final stretch of the season.

Chrissy Sarnowsky

Survivor Smack Talk
“Survivor Smack Talk” – It’s double trouble when an unforeseen twist puts pressure on the castaways during the immunity challenge. Then, there’s nowhere to hide when a pivotal tribal council takes shape and decides who will make the jury, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, April 9 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+(live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. | CBS
  • Voted out: Ninth
  • Jury: Yes

Chrissy Sarnowsky might have stirred the pot a little too much in trying to break up some of the key alliances in the game, and it definitely resulted in the players making an easy-ish vote instead of trying to make a big, strategic play in episode 8. It's setting up for a fantastic finish!

Honestly, it's such a bummer that Chrissy was voted out because her strategy is right. There's no way these players should be letting the strong players stay together and pick off everyone they want. That hasn't happened yet, but it could if the others aren't careful.

David Kinne

Welcome to the Party
“Welcome to the Party” – Tensions continue to rise among disagreeing alliance members. Concentration is key in this week’s individual immunity challenge. Then, a secretive midnight journey turns not so secretive when tribemates notice this player sneak out of camp, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, April 23 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential | CBS
  • Voted out: 10th
  • Jury: Yes

One episode after a Tribal Council meltdown, David antagonized too many people on Survivor 48. Instead of working with his alliance, they turned on him and voted him out in episode 9. David becomes the 10th player voted out of Survivor 48 and the third member of the jury.

It's a tough way to exit the game. David was one of the strongest players we've seen on Survivor in a long time, and he almost won this immunity challenge, too. Had he won instead of Joe Hunter, David would be in control of the game. Instead, he lost, and his alliance took him out at the first opportunity. Now, the game is truly open!

Star Toomey

SURVIVOR

  • Voted out: 11th
  • Jury: Yes

After a lot of debate about making a big move in episode 10, Star Toomey found herself in a tough spot. No one wanted to work with her, basically, and the vote came down to Mary Zheng vs. Star after Joe Hunter won immunity again.

Ultimately, they alliance chose to take out Star. It's honestly a bummer how everything played out, but the bonds between Mary, Star, Mitch Guerra, and Kamilla Karthigesu just weren't strong enough to pull off a big blindside.

Mary Zheng

Coconut Etiquette
“Coconut Etiquette’” – One castaway struggles coming to grips with betraying their allies. Power in the game is up for grabs when one castaway is chosen for a journey and must decide if the risk is worth the reward. Then, paranoia runs rampant when a castaway knowingly tries to stir up chaos on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, May 7 (8:00 - 9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream on Paramount+*. Jeff Probst serves as host and executive producer. Pictured: Mary Zheng. Photo: | CBS
  • Voted out: 12th
  • Jury: Yes

Mary Zheng was voted out in episode 11! For a long time, it really looked like Joe Hunter was on the chopping block, but that vote didn't happen. It's unclear why, but I think I have some theories about why that happened.

Overall, Mary played an incredible game, but she never had a chance to really find her footing with a clear alliance. Every time she gained an ally, that play was targeted and voted out. It's a tough way for things to end, but that's how it goes in Survivor sometimes.

Shauhin Davari

Icarus Time
“Icarus Time” – Castaways must decide between choosing heart over head as they enter the final six and last stage of the game. Letters from home feed the soul and strengthen bonds during this week’s reward at the sanctuary. Then, two castaways orchestrate a particularly convincing ruse, escalating the remaining tribe’s paranoia on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, May 14 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME | CB
  • Voted out: 13th
  • Jury: Yes

Shauhin Davari played a great game in Survivor 48. He operated behind the scenes as a member of the majority alliance, and he almost did enough to pull off the win this season. Unfortunately, Kyle Fraser and Kamilla Karthigesu made a huge move to sway Eva Erickson and Joe Hunter to vote out their alliance member.

It was the perfect move on paper with Eva safe with a hidden immunity idol and Joe safe with the immunity necklace. Shauhin was voted out one episode before the Survivor 48 finale.

Mitch Guerra

Only One of Yous Can Win
“Only One of Yous Can Win” – The $1 million dollars is closer than ever as the remaining castaways enter the final stretch of the game. A major come-from-behind win earns one person a trip to the sanctuary and a spot in the final four. Then, a tumultuous fire-making showdown determines the final three. One castaway will be crowned Sole Survivor and awarded the $1 million prize, on the season 48 finale, followed by the After Show, hosted by Jeff Probst, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, May 21 (8:00-11:00 | CBS
  • Voted out: 14th
  • Jury: Yes

Mitch missed out on winning immunity at the Final Five, and he was promptly told his fate. In one of the most anticlimatic votes in Survivor history, Mitch was voted out before the Final Four. He became the seventh member of the jury.

It was obviously a huge disappointment for Mitch. He didn't really have a chance to save himself!

Who is on the Survivor 48 jury?

Welcome to the Party
“Welcome to the Party” – Tensions continue to rise among disagreeing alliance members. Concentration is key in this week’s individual immunity challenge. Then, a secretive midnight journey turns not so secretive when tribemates notice this player sneak out of camp, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, April 23 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential | CB

As things stand, there are seven players on the Survivor 48 jury:

  • Cedrek McFadden
  • Chrissy Sarnowsky
  • David Kinne
  • Star Toomey
  • Mary Zheng
  • Shauhin Davari
  • Mitch Guerra

Cedrek McFadden became the first jury member when he was voted out in episode 7, one spot ahead of Sai Hughley, who was voted out in the same episode. Chrissy was the second jury member, while David is the third. Star and Mary were voted out next, followed by Shauhin. Now, we need one juror after Mitch was voted out.

Survivor 48 players who can still win

Every week, at least one player from Survivor 48 will be voted out, obviously, but we think it's important to keep a running list of the players still in the game, too. That way, fans should have an easier time keeping track of who is still in the game at any given point.

We're officially in the jury building stage of the competition players which is going to make the remaining eliminations in Survivor 48 interesting. There are only seven players with a chance to win the $1 million prize and become the Sole Survivor.

  • Joe Hunter
  • Eva Erickson
  • Kyle Fraser
  • Kamilla Karthigesu

The next episode of Survivor is a 90-minute episode and will air on CBS and Paramount+ on Wednesday, April 16. New episodes of Survivor 48 will be released every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+.

Watch the Survivor 48 finale on Wednesday, May 21! Stay tuned for more news about Survivor 48!
