There are only a few episodes of Survivor 47 left!
“Loyal to the Soil” – In a SURVIVOR first, castaways attempt a shocking negotiation for rice. Eight players. Four episodes. Who will be the Survivor 47 winner? We'll find out officially in part 2 of the two-part Survivor 47 finale on Dec. 18.

Until then, I picked the four players who are the most likely to win Survivor 47 after watching the first 10 episodes of the season.

Let's get the list started with Caroline Vidmar, who is playing a tremendous game so far!

Caroline Vidmar

Nightmare Fuel
“Nightmare Fuel” – Castaways must choose wisely as they split themselves into pairs at a crucial multi-staged immunity challenge. The deck is stacked against castaways when they embark on a journey that can drastically affect their game. Then, different names are tossed out at camp as paranoia ensues, leading to another crazy tribal council, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Nov. 13 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with / CBS

Caroline Vidmar, in my opinion, is probably the player who is the favorite to win Survivor 47 right now. I don't think there's anyone (except Gabe Ortis) who would have anything bad to say about Caroline right now. She allowed Gabe to be the face of the Tuku alliance, so to speak, even though she's probably the person keeping that alliance together more than any of the others. She knew when the right time to make the move on Gabe was, and she, along with the other players, executed the vote to perfection.

To me, Caroline should get the most credit for the move to vote out Gabe. She was the only player in Gabe's alliance to truly flip on him. Kyle Ostwald could be thrown in there, as well. But, Caroline was probably the one who moved that vote from Genevieve to Gabe with her willingness to play ball and betray Sue in the process. There's definitely some collateral damage here, and Caroline is going to have to do some major work to make it to the end. There's no Gabe to shift the vote to now!

If Caroline can keep Sue and pull in someone like Andy Rueda or Teeny Chirichillo, she will have the advantage against the rest of the players. The kicker is that's true for some of the other players with a realistic resume to win Survivor 47, including Sam Phalen and the other players on this list.

Genevieve Mushaluk

Loyal to the Soil
“Loyal to the Soil” – In a SURVIVOR first, castaways attempt a shocking negotiation for rice. Genevieve Mushaluk was another player who I had a good feeling about at the beginning of the game. It took her a few days to settle in, and since then, Genevieve has been playing an incredible game. She almost got voted out in episode 10, but it will be very interesting to see how she bounces back from that vote.

Genevieve has been a part of some of the biggest moves in the game so far. I don't think the players realized the game she was playing until the big move she made to vote Sol Yi out in episode 9. I know it doesn't totally make sense, but I do think that Sol was a massive threat this season. I think the players started to realize that he was making genuine connections with some of the other players who had been betrayed earlier in the game. He almost had quite the army behind him, and I think that Genevieve realized that after playing the whole game with him.

She also made the huge move on Kishan Patel early in the season, and she even made it seem like Rome Cooney was the one who made that happen, even though it was all her.

Of the four players on this list, I'm the most worried that Genevieve won't make it to the Final Three. She might have played some of her cards too soon, but we'll just have to see what happens.

Rachel LaMont

Loyal to the Soil
“Loyal to the Soil” – In a SURVIVOR first, castaways attempt a shocking negotiation for rice. For basically the entire season, I've been a fan of Rachel LaMont. From the intro video when the Survivor 47 cast was announced, I had a feeling that Rachel was going to be an incredibly strong player. From a strategic perspective, I don't think there's anyone quite as strong as Rachel. But, that doesn't guarantee success. It actually makes her a big target, which is why she's been targeted and her name has been thrown around a few times.

I don't know if Rachel's quite done enough to claim the favorite spot if the game were to end tomorrow, but there are still many, many big moves left to be made. If Rachel makes it to the end, it means that she's going to be dictating the rest of the game. And, if that happens, there will be no doubt that she will win.

I also have to imagine that Rachel is one of the players who will be well-respected by the jury. We've already seen Caroline, Genevieve, and Gabe talk about Rachel being a massive threat. They respect the game she's playing. There's a possibility that three of Rachel's Gata tribemates end up on the jury. And, we already know how Sol feels about her. That's a lot of possible votes for Rachel at the end of the game, just looking at the numbers.

She also has a hidden immunity idol! And, the moves she pulled with the Safety Without Power advantage and the Shot in the Dark? Forget about it!

Kyle Ostwald

Loyal to the Soil

I had to include Kyle in this ranking for the simple reason that he continues to win every immunity challenge. Since the merge, Kyle has been safe at all but one vote, and that was in episode 9 when Genevieve pulled off a big move against her former ally, Sol Yi.

If Kyle continues to win immunity challenges at a historically unprecedented rate, he's going to win. If not, eventually, I think the players will realize enough is enough and take him out.

From a strategy perspective, I don't think Kyle is playing the same kind of game that Caroline, Genevieve, and Rachel have been playing. In my opinion, they have been the players shaping who is getting voted out throughout the season. While that hasn't been Kyle's game, I don't think that would be held against him if he makes The Final Three. Sure, he's not playing chess while everyone else plays checkers, but he's kicking their butts in every single challenge.

Again, he still has work to do, but Kyle has to like the position he's in. There are few physical threats remaining in the game. He still has allies in the game, too. There are three former Tuku players left. It's not an Ozzy Lusth situation where the players are simply waiting for him to lose every week.

Those are the four favorites heading into the final four episodes of Survivor 47, but there's a lot of game left to play!
