We’re officially a quarter of the way through Survivor 50 after three episodes, and there are a few players who deserve way more screen time than we’ve seen so far.
Through three episodes, the screen time has not been created equal for these players. According to Survivor Fact Checker on Instagram, Christian Hubicki and Ozzy Lusth have had the most confessionals so far this season. Obviously, that makes sense because those two players, along with Emily Flippen, have been to every Tribal Council so far. Still, I wish there were a little more diversity among the players in terms of camera time.
And, those are just the confessionals, but there are some players who we have barely seen around camp, too! More than a week into the game, that’s not really acceptable in my opinion, but the producers have their narrative and time constraints.
I picked five players from this season who deserve more screen time this season. Let’s get the list started with Tiffany Ervin.

Tiffany Ervin
So far, through three episodes, Tiffany Ervin is dead last in confessionals, according to Survivor Fact Checker. She's spoken directly to the camera exactly twice so far, and that's a bummer. While Charlie Davis, whom we will talk about in a minute, was the perfect narrator for Survivor 46, Tiff was right there with him! She had so many confessionals early in the game, and she continued to be an entertaining and informative voice during that season.
In addition to her prowess as a competitor, Tiff was picked for Survivor 50 because she's entertaining. She's loyal, and she's there to win. It would be awesome to see her get to do that in Survivor 50 instead of being relegated to the background.

Kamilla Karthigesu
When it comes to storytelling ability, Kamilla Karthigesu was one of the best on Survivor 48, along with Shauhin Davari and her partner in crime, Kyle Fraser, who obviously won that season. Heading into Survivor 50, I worried Kamilla would have a hard time standing out from the crowd because of how she plays the game, but I didn't expect to not see her, basically, at all.
Through three episodes, Kamilla has only had three confessionals. She's right above Tiffany in second-to-last place on the list. That's a problem if she's going to go far in the game.
It's so puzzling that Kamilla hasn't been on camera much when she has the biggest connection with Kyle, who was pulled from the game in the season premiere after tearing his Achilles tendon. Kamilla didn't even get a confessional about that!
Then, in the third episode, she literally wiped the course with the rest of the players after leading her tribe through the obstacles while they were blindfolded and then solved the puzzle by herself. She deserved a lot more praise than what we saw during th episode for that performance. If Ozzy did something like that and put the team on his back, Jeff Probst wouldn't have stopped talking about it.

Chrissy Hofbeck
Of the older-school players, Chrissy Hofbeck and Angelina Keeley have gotten the fewest number of confessionals so far, and that's a problem. Chrissy is an incredible Survivor player. She's a great spokesperson for the game, and she brings a unique perspective. Obviously, she hasn't been to Tribal Council yet, but she's gotten a really, really bad edit so far this season.
Basically, all we know is that everyone thinks Chrissy is annoying, and that's just a shame because I'm sure that's not the only thing she's doing out there. Even if Chrissy is acting like that, I'm sure they've gotten other good stuff, in terms of strategy, from Chrissy so far.

Charlie Davis
Charlie Davis of Survivor 46 is one of the best Survivor 50 players who can take a complex problem or part of the game and verbalize it in a way that is insightful, snackable, and poignant all in one fell swoop. He's a great quote, which was why he was picked to co-host the On Fire with Jeff Probst podcast after his season.
Charlie was barely getting any screen time in Survivor 50 until episode 3. He had a few confessionals in the episode, and we finally got a peek into what Charlie has been thinking out there on the island. I still feel like we need to hear more from Charlie so far. He just has a way of explaining adversity or situations in a way that others don't, and I think that's what we all want to see on Survivor. Charlie is an expert strategist, and when we get to see him examining his options and talking through those options, we're all better for it as fans.

Mike White
Look, I know Mike is near the top of the leaderboard when it comes to confessionals. He gets a lot of camera time, but he needs more. There's no doubt in my mind that Mike should be the narrator of the season. I love Christian Hubicki and Ozzy Lusth, but they should not be the spokespersons of season 50. There's no one funnier than Mike on the beach, so he should get to talk more. End of.
Honestly, Mike should be getting the Jim Halpert edit from The Office. The camera should just cut to Mike at every moment just to get his reaction. We already saw this when Coach was suffering from calf cramps. We need to see it in every major scene.
Coach's leg is cramping and Mike White is just standing there looking at the camera & loving it! He’s awesome! #Survivor #Survivor50 pic.twitter.com/7wGkVqUa4L

Like, that's perfect. This is the perfect tone that Survivor 50 should aim to strike! We're all laughing at Coach. Just show us the players laughing at him, too.
So, those are the five players I need to see more of in Survivor 50! Hopefully, they get that opportunity before they are voted out of the game.
