We're less than two weeks away from the Survivor 48premiere, and CBS just shared the first look images from the season premiere. Good news! There's a lot of them.
"The Get to Know You Game," the first episode of Survivor 48, airs on CBS and Paramount+ on on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 8 p.m. ET. So far, we've seen the cast members, learned their names, who they are, and how they want to play the game thanks to CBS, but now, we're finally getting a look at the new Survivor 48 players in action.
As expected, the first images from Survivor 48 include the first moments on the beach during the marooning challenge, the baptism into Survivor by mud, the first immunity challenge, and the tribes experiencing camp life on their beaches for the first time.
Based on the images, we can also see the names of a few tribes. The orange tribe is called Civa, while the green tribe is called Yuli. We don't know the name of the purple tribe yet, but we'll likely find out soon when see more promo for the season premiere on TV and on social media.
Speaking of promos, we learned which players were going to be on each tribe when the full cast was announced at the end of January. With the teaser trailer released during the Survivor 47 finale, we were able to cross-reference with the cast list and confirm the tribes to start Survivor 48.
On the Yula tribe (green), you'll find Cedrek McFadden, Stephanie Berger, Mary Zheng, Sai Hughley, Kevin Leung, and Justin Pioppi.
On the Civa tribe (orange), you'll see David Kinne, Chrissy Sarnowsky, Mitch Guerra, Kamilla Karthigesu, Charity Nelms, and Kyle Fraser.
On the purple tribe, which is the one we don't know the name yet, we have Star Toomey, Shauhin Davari, Bianca Roses, Joe Hunter, Thomas Krottinger, and Eva Erickson.
I believe every player is in at least one image, not including the wide shot that includes the full cast anyway. Everyone else is featured somewhere with the 13 new images from Survivor 48. And, last but not least, we have a new image of Jeff Probst from the first day and challenge of Survivor 48.

We should get a few more looks at Survivor 48 as we get closer to the season. Typically, we see the full cast interviews shared publicly, along with a few more teaser trailers to get fans hyped for the season.
In the teaser that we have seen so far, medical is called in for what appears to be the first challenge. I'm curious if how that plays out, but it looks like that player might remain in the game. In what appears to be the first immunity challenge, it looks like each tribe has six players. Perhaps, that player who gets injured is able to stay in the game! I really hope so.
Stay tuned for more news about Survivor 48! Watch the season premiere on Wedndesday, Feb. 26.
