Survivor 50 episode 4, "Knife to the Heart," airs at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday, March 18, and will feature a special guest.

Zac Brown, the lead singer of the Zac Brown Band with hits like "Chicken Fried," will be joining the 20 remaining players in Fiji for a very special reward challenge in the episode. Days after revealing Brown's appearance in images from the episode, Survivor shared a sneak peek of what Brown will be doing during his brief stint in Survivor 50.

In the clip, Brown joins Jeff Probst and the players when they arrive at the reward challenge. Probst and Brown explain that Brown will be hosting a very special reward for the winning tribe.

"So, my favorite thing to do in the world is spear fish," Brown explains. "I want to come out and shoot some amazing fish for y'all. I want to bring it in and break it down. So, we've got, like, plantains, beans and rice, some fresh grilled fish. We'll eat and play some tunes and hang."

I'm not a fan of Brown's music, but Dee Valladares asked the question I've been wondering about since it was revealed that Brown would be on the season: Is he going to sing?

Brown said that, yes, he will be singing, as well.

This is going to be a really interesting episode. There are already so many players in Survivor 50 not getting enough screen time. Now, we're going to take at least a handful of those minutes and devote them to a country singer and spearfisherman. That's probably the worst part of the celebrity cameos that are about to happen on Survivor 50. These players are who we are watching to see, and that's going to be taken away, a bit, by celebrities. I can't imagine that is going to sit well with a lot of Survivor fans.

Honestly, for me, I don't know how much I love that element of the game this season, but just from watching Brown's interaction with the cast, it's clear that he loves Survivor and wants to be part of this celebration of a season. So, I will withold judgement until a later date.

I'm also just so curious to see if Brown is also going to give these players an advantage or something. We've seen the Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol multiple times, and it looks like we're going to see another one in this episode, based on the synopsis, so that's going to be really interesting to watch play out, as well.

This will be, I believe, the first big food reward of the season. That's going to have a major impact on this season. You can start to see just how much these players are struggling. The tribe that wins the reward should have a massive advantage, even if there aren't any advantages that come directly from it.

Watch Survivor 50 episode 4, "Knife to the Heart," at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and Paramount+. Stay tuned for more information about the episode.
