Who is the biggest threat remaining in Survivor 47? That's the big question. It's probably most of what the players have been thinking about since the merge (and probably before that!).
With only three episodes of Survivor 47 left this season, including the two-part season finale, there are seven players left in the game. Of those seven players, there are four players with a realistic chance to win. And, even within those four players, there are some players who are much bigger threats than others.
We ranked the four biggest threats left in Survivor 47! Let's get the list started with Caroline Vidmar.
4. Caroline Vidmar
Caroline Vidmar is still in a good position with seven players left in the game. She upset her top ally in the game when she flipped on Gabe Ortis to vote him out, but Sue and Caroline still seem close. They could and should definitely use each other to make it to the end of the game.
Caroline hasn't made that signature move yet in the game, but there's still a lot of time. She's playing a great social game and she's in the main alliance, the Underdogs alliance, that has the power with just three episodes of Survivor 47 left. Caroline also rightly has stated that Rachel LaMont is the best player in the game right now. Rachel tried to get Rachel out earlier, and she definitely could flip on Rachel despite being alliance members. That would be the move that wins Caroline the game in Survivor 47, but if she does it too soon, the target could find her back, as well. There are still three players who have to go before they make fire in the finale after all!
A big move too soon could ruin her game, but a move made not at all definitely would ruin her game.
3. Andy Rueda
I literally can't believe I'm saying this, but Andy Rueda might just win Survivor 47! After the season premiere, I thought Andy was toast. There was going to be no way to rebound after everything that happened with Jon Lovett and the Gata tribe, but Andy has a way of charming people and making people feel comfortable, or so it appears, that I did not expect, especially after his awkward encounter with Rachel LaMont in the early days. Now, Rachel and Andy are working together. Fate brought them back together, and they could each definitely win.
Andy is playing an incredible social and strategic game. Andy has formed connections with almost everyone left in the game, which is making it harder for them to vote him out. He's also been integral in a few votes, including the moves on Sierra Wright and Sol Yi. Andy basically stabbed them both in the back. He clearly sees that Genevieve is a threat, and he nearly turns against his alliance to try to get her out of the game before voting out Kyle. He also stoked Sue's disdain for Kyle on purpose (I think?!), and it's those kinds of moves that could win him the game.
Andy is no pushover, despite making some mistakes and struggling at times in the game. Everyone struggles in Survivor, and it's about overcoming all of those obstacles. Jeff Probst says it all the time; Survivor is about the story. What if the player who looked the most bewildered on day 1 came back to win Survivor 47? That's a story right there!
2. Genevieve Mushaluk
Genevieve Mushaluk has played a great game in Survivor 47. She made a perfectly timed move during her time with the Lavo tribe to make herself an indispensable part of the tribe by targeting Kishan Patel. She's been at the center of the game, for the most part, since that move. She's clearly an incredible strategic player.
But, great players make bad decisions, too, and that appears to be what happened when Genevieve pulled off a big blindside on Sol Yi. He did not see it coming, although it was clear that he felt in danger. I don't think he realized at all that it was going to be Genevieve to make the move. It was similar to Andy's big move on Sierra Wright and Sam Phalen, but Andy was pretty lowkey about how he went about that move. He used the fact that Sam and Sierra threw him under the bus to justify that move. On the other hand, Genevieve went at Sol, and it definitely raised some red flags for the people playing with her. Basically, Genevieve might have shown her hand too early in the game.
It's not over for Genevieve, though. She might be next on the Underdogs' list of people they want out of the game, but she has at least a few people to work with if she wants to make a big move.
If Genevieve makes it to The Final Three, it means she pulled off some incredible moves to make that happen. At that point, she has to be considered the favorite to win Survivor 47! But, she'll have to work some magic to get there first.
1. Rachel LaMont
Rachel LaMont is the easy favorite in rand that's why Rachel topped Surviving Tribal's weekly power rankings heading into episode 12 on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
Rachel's key strengths are her hidden immunity idol, Steal-a-Vote advantage, and her allies. Rachel officially locked things in place with the Underdogs alliance. They have the power and numbers in the game, especially if you throw Sue's immunity idol into the mix as well. The smart thing for Rachel to do right now is stay on the numbers, allow them to make a few moves together, and then take out Caroline or Andy at the final five to give her as good of a chance to win the game as possible.
Will everyone realize that Rachel is playing the best game before its too late? It doesn't look like it, and that's why she's the biggest threat remaining in the game.
If they figure it out, though, it's going to take the hidden immunity idol, the advantage, and some help for Rachel to win Survivor 47!
