We started The Traitors season 3 with four former Survivor players: Boston Rob, Tony Vlachos, Jeremy Collins, and Carolyn Wiger. Just seven episodes into the season and at least four or five episodes left in the season, we're down to one Survivor player left.

Now, it is only a matter of time before the Survivor players are completely banished from the game.

Spoilers ahead for The Traitors season 3!

Carolyn, the runner-up from Survivor 44, is the last Survivor player remaining in The Traitors season 3, and she's in a really tough spot as a traitor, who seem to be dropping like flies lately.

In the seventh episode, Boston Rob, who was a traitor along with Carolyn, was targeted. He was dealt a bad hand with how skeptical players were about him all season, and he tried his best to manipulate the situation and point the target away from himself. It nearly worked, and that's a testament to how truly awesome he is at reality TV. Eventually, Boston Rob was sent home.

Earlier in the season, Tony, a faithful, was targeted after he stumbled over some answers. He was banished, and then, he called out Boston Rob for being a sellout. Shortly after, Jeremy was banished, as well.

And, that leaves Carolyn carrying the torch for Survivor in the castle. Again, things are not looking so good for Carolyn and the traitors. They're not moving nearly as quietly this season. They're making big moves, and it's drawing a lot of suspicion. Obviously, they'll have the option to bring more traitors if that's what Danielle and Carolyn choose to do moving forward, but they do not have a good partnership at all.

Based on how past Survivor players have performed in The Traitors, it makes a lot of sense why these players are getting targeted. To win Survivor, which Boston Rob, Tony, and Jeremy, have done before, you must know how to lie, manipulate, and use deception to accomplish your goals and stay around in the game. It's very similar to The Traitors. The thing is that there's a general mistrust of people like Boston Rob, Tony, and Jeremy, specifically, because they are so good at this kind of game. Tony, Jeremy, and Boston Rob entered the game with a massive target on their back. No matter what they did, they couldn't shake the other players targeting them.

In the case of Boston Rob, it was obviously accurate. The faithful got a traitor out of the game, but it wasn't like he was moving like a traitor, really. He got voted out because he was Boston Rob, you know?

Looking at the history of The Traitors, it makes sense why the Survivor players get targeted. Cirie Fields, a Survivor legend, won the first season as a traitor. Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick made it to episode 9 in the first season as a faithful. In season 2, Parvati Shallow was eliminated in episode 8, while Sandra Diaz-Twine, who is tied with Tony for the most Survivor wins of all time, was eliminated in episode 11.

So, it really looks like The Traitors players have been learning from the past seasons. The "Never trust the Survivor players" strategy seems to have worked in season 3, but Carolyn still has a chance. It's much better to play the game as a traitor because you have a lot more power. Will she be able to make it to the end? We'll find out.
