Survivor 48 episode 3, "Committing to the Bit," is almost here! Another player is headed home in this new episode, which means the Survivor 48 cast will then have a one in 15 chance to win this season.
So far, things have been quite tame in Survivor 48. We're waiting for these players to really start playing, but I fear that's because we haven't seen any tribe at Tribal Council except for the Vula tribe.
Below, we shared the episode synopsis, a teaser trailer, two clips from episode 3, and the pictures from Survivor 48 episode 3 that CBS shared. I have a feeling this is going to be a really good episode!
What time is Survivor on tonight?

Survivor 48 episode 3 preview
It sounds and looks like episode 3 is going to be the most intense episode of the season so far. We're going to see another difficult challenge. It's the one that blindfolded players navigating an obstacle course while another player on their tribe gives instructions. It is one of the most difficult challenges because it requires so much communication.
Here's the synopsis for the new episode, "Committing to the Bit," via CBS:
"Castaways must fly blind during the immunity challenge, leaving one tribe with tribal council in their sights. The rising tensions within the losing tribe culminate in a historic tribal council, on SURVIVOR..."
In the preview, we get to see Sai Hughley try to chase Mary Zheng all over the Vula camp as Mary tries to find a hidden immunity idol. Remember, there should be a new idol in play after Sai played her idol in the previous Tribal Council. In the new clip from episode 3, we also get to see an extended look of Mary playing mind games with Sai. These are two players to watch in episode 3!
Over on the Lagi tribe, Thomas Krottinger is in the middle of the action. He's conspiring with Star Toomey and Bianca Roses to take control of the game if Star solves the codex and gets an immunity idol. We don't know if Thomas is being for real or if he's just playing the game, but he has emerged as a great villain in the early part of the game.
We also get the first look at the immunity and reward challenge, which we shared a little bit about. It's one of my favorite challenges because these poor blindfolded players take a beating while trying to navigate the course with only one player on the tribe who can see and give instructions.
Who will be voted out? I have the sneaking suspicion it will be another player from the Vula tribe, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Survivor 48 episode 3 clips
CBS also shared two new clips from episode 3. In the first clip, Joe Hunter, randomly, builds a giant bonfire at the Lagi beach to try to help improve some morale. I don't know if it will accomplish his goal or if he's just going to depleted some of his energy, but Joe is clearly the biggest physical threat in the game right now.
In the second clip, we see the extended clip of Mary running all over the beach as Sai chases her. They also shared a few great insights about why they are each playing the way they are in this season.
Then, CBS also shared six new pictures from the new episode. As mentioned in a story we wrote, the Vula tribe is in five of the pictures. I have a feeling that they will be prominently featured again in this episode. Hopefully, they'll find a way to come together and win a challenge for once!
